My name is Eboni Davis and I’m a full-time college nursing student working two jobs to help pay for school and my car. This summer, I pushed myself harder than ever—taking extra shifts, saving every paycheck, and doing everything I could to finally buy my own car. It wasn’t just transportation to me; it was independence, stability, and the ability to get to school and work without constantly asking my mom to take me to work or walking and wondering how i was going to be able to get to campus and back home.
Unfortunately, only a couple of months after buying my car, it suddenly broke down. After getting it checked, I received heartbreaking news that the engine has completely failed and needs to be replaced. The repair costs are far beyond anything I can afford right now. As someone paying for school ,books, and food while working two jobs, this setback has hit me incredibly hard.
Without a car, I struggle to make it to my shifts. Missing work means losing income, 4gI’ve worked so hard to stay afloat, and asking for help is not easy for me—but right now, I don’t know what else to do.
I’m asking for any support to help cover the cost of a new engine and the labor to install it. Even a few dollars genuinely makes a difference. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world to me.
