Alpine Amusement Co among many Showmens League of America members and organizations came together to donate their time and supplies ensuring this special tradition continues ❤️……

The SLA Christmas Party has been an annual tradition for 78 years! According to the Showmens League of America, in November of 1946, Brother Nat Green suggested that the SLA host a Christmas Party for underprivileged children. The members talked to Ulrich Home, an orphanage in Chicago, and arrangements were made for Christmas Eve in a banquet room of the Sherman Hotel. Buses were hired, and donations of cash, 10 turkeys, and 2 clowns were received at the League Office. This was the beginning of a wonderful tradition that the SLA hosts each year for special needs and underprivileged children.

In 1946 we entertained 250 children at the Christmas Party. Currently we are proud to entertain over 1000 children! In addition to live performances and entertainment we provide each child with toys, cotton candy and popcorn in celebration of the holiday season💚❤️

It is with great sadness we need to share the loss of our long-term employee Chris Pfeifer. He had amazing work ethic and so much pride for our company. In the past 7 weeks, his life turned upside down, from thinking he had a rib fracture to finding out he’s battling cancer. Throughout it all, he insisted on working and remained optimistic that he would win the fight. He loved to make his co-workers laugh even until the very end …

Chris will always be a BIG part of our Alpine Family…we can’t even imagine a season without him.💔
