I made this piece for a lovely lady whose friend lost someone very important to her. It is full of little memories and reminders.
To the casual viewer, it’s just a cute, but bit random, piece.
Truth: this is filled with love.
I love all the pieces I make, but this one...this one gets me.
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift for someone grieving.

Ignoring the random snow this weekend, this rainy weather is reminding me it’s spring. And do you know what other season it is?

Also, here is a piece I made in 2018, for a good friend as a wedding anniversary/housewarming gift. They are the best and they rudely live in England, so I never get to see them.

So there is this little boy - Liam - and he’s sweet and completely adorable. And this little boy has three BEAUTIFUL little sisters to love, and protect, and cherish. It’s all too lovely to explain, just believe me. And their gorgeous mommy asked me to make a piece for each with their birth statistics.
Think pure white fabric, vintage inspired colors of navy paired with butter yellow, soft blue, and a gentle pink. Think bunting and flowers and everything magical ✨
I loved every second of these!
