This 30th-anniversary & vow renewal event gave me all the goosebumps! 😍 K+S opted for a simple and intimate backyard celebration with just their moms, children, and grandbabies. They entrusted to craft a personalized 3-course meal with wine pairings for their sit-down dinner.

However, Mother Nature had different plans! 🌧️☔️ Following the ceremony, a thunderstorm and downpour crashed the party. But instead of dampening spirits, the vendor team and guests embraced the moment, relocating to the garage to savor the chef’s creations.

I've been pretty quiet over here for the last 6+ months thinking about life, family, career, big wild goals & crazy dreams. I'm a dreamer. Disney imagineer type dreamer. Thinking the endless possibilities, different paths & ways to make them happen are non-stop in this brain of mine 🤯So why am I telling you this? Because I've survived some crazy obstacles lately and I'm here to talk about it - Finally!
We survived Covid in California - which almost broke us. Literally and figuratively. The wedding industry along with many others, shut down for well over a year leaving us high and dry on work. After speaking with industry friends here in FL, this was not the case in many places which really put things in perspective of surviving...
My podcast took a extended hiatus leaving a giant hole where I initially felt happiness. I truly miss what podcasting brought to me and my overall WHY.
We trekked cross country from San Diego to Fort Myers to relocate to a better place financially, with room to travel and work on both coasts. Let's just say, starting over is HARD!
Then came 🌀 Ian. Need I say more? We lost our belongings in 6ft of water in our house. Honestly the worst thing I've been through - I still struggle daily (though I am working through it ❤️) I feel lucky to say we made it out alive w/ our pups.
I've always been great at what I do, creatively speaking, but I fall short come time for ex*****on, leaving me in the same place after each obstacle, if not farther behind.
So this post is my PSA, that I have BIG (HUGE, Julia Roberts says it best) stuff dreamt up and to stay tuned for me to put it in action. It's time to put action where my mouth is!
I'm forever grateful for the image by Westway Studio (Terran Bayer, most INCREDIBLE pet photographer BTW) before Sanibel Island was changed by 🌀
I crave inspiration and often look towards architecture to boost creativity in my business. I notice patterns formed from shadows and highlights. I look for symmetry and asymmetrical shapes and unique angles. I take this inspiration to portrait sessions when the client and time is just right. These are the things that make me a better photographer and business owner.
I make it a point to photograph buildings, textures and nature during your session and/or wedding to truly capture the feeling of that day, at your session. I deliver a handful of these images in your final gallery that way you can choose one to print out and hang your walls. Seeing that image turned into a timeless piece of art, will you take you back in time and give you all the feels 🖼️ from your session like this image I shot while in Split, Croatia.

5 islands YOU MUST VISIT in the Greece I’m all for visiting the larger more popular islands of Greece. That’s where we got engaged, so it’s always going to have a special part in my heart but I highly recommend visiting these smaller more private islands to see everything that Greece truly has to offer. I’ve picked out the 5 best islands that you absolutely must visit. 1. Gidaki Beach - considered most beautiful beach of Ithica and one of the most beautiful in Greece 2. Atokos - a private and uninhabited beach (minus a few pigs and goats). This speech is also known as Greek pig Beach. Only accessible by boat. 3. Filiatro Beach - located just 3 km east of Vathy. Extremely safe waters, and a collection of sun, beds, parasol, and beach bar, and restaurant. We made a whole day of it here and anchored out in the water until the next morning. 4. Zavalata Beach - located in Fiscardo, Kefalonia. Located in a neighbor Cove of the port. This beach has no facilities but there’s a huge tree for natural shade and it’s just located right by local shops, bars and restaurants. 5. Egremni Beach - this Beach stole my heart and was by far my favorite. It has a white sand and pebble coastline, and the light blue colors of the sea were magical. It’s surrounded by white cliffs that make you feel tiny. If you’re not going by boat, you will need to climb down a huge staircase. I highly recommend chartering a sailboat or a catamaran (PS. hit me up if you need the best captain ever! I’ll put you in contact with him!) to get around these islands. Some are completely private, and unable to be visited by car. Top Tips: - Take water shoes - the beaches are pebbles. - put your phone in a waterproof pouch so that you can take photos and videos - Take Euro - some of the bars only take cash - Eat all the local fish and all the local beers - Stay away from any wildlife - remember, wild boars are wild and may try to run toward you 😂 Feel free to ask questions about
