Throwing it back to a warm, sunny day ☀️

Love them and loved this shoot! So much love and happiness there. Steph and I worked closely with picking out the perfect outfit combinations. Always feel free to reach out if you need help putting things together. It makes such a difference!

It has been a little while since my last post. The past few months have been pretty busy between the holidays, family time, and a whole bunch of shoots. I'm excited to share what I've been working on, but I knew my first shoot of the year had to be the Naylor family.

To give you a brief description on their story - After years of advocating for Giacomo (known as G), Liz found out he had a rare genetic condition called myotonic dystrophy. This unfortunately is an incurable disorder that affects every organ system leading to health issues and a shorter life expectancy. Just as Liz welcomed her fourth child, she found out that her other three children also had the same condition. Liz has done everything in her power to help her children experience as much of this world as possible and make as many beautiful memories as they can. I can only imagine the sacrifice and strength this has taken.

In March of 2023, they lost Gianna. You will see her face in the first picture, as they always have it with them as one way to help her memory live on. This past October, it was apparent that G's condition was getting worse. He decided he wanted to do something called "G's Last Stand" where he would visit as many people and places as possible. Naples was one of those places, and I was lucky enough to meet them on one of the days they were here.

This family is full of as much sweetness as they are strength. I had my daughter with me, and she instantly connected with the kids. It was a shoot I'll always remember. At one point I showed Isadora a picture on the back of my camera. She said, "Oh my God, I'm beautiful!" I confirmed that she absolutely is!

Doing these shoots will always be the most important shoots I ever do. I feel like they are what I was called to do and the reason God put me on this path. So the offer always stands, if you know someone going through an illness, tell them to reach out for a free shoot.

Finally getting back to the groove after all the hurricane craziness! Thankfully my family and I are all good. I unfortunately can't say the same for our beaches and surrounding areas. So many were finally rebuilding after Ian, and it's heartbreaking to see all those affected again. I've tried to check in with a lot of clients, but if anyone needs anything, please reach out. We're all in this together!

With school back this week, I've gotten back to my normal schedule and have been able to deliver a few galleries. I'm so obsessed with these ones! This mama is beautiful inside and out! She just launched her first book, go show her some love ❤️

This weekend my daughter and I are headed to Miami to see Taylor Swift! Getting to go with my little girl is a bucket list experience that I'm beyond excited and grateful for. I'll be back to sending out galleries early next week.

Last year's minis at Bogginfin were so much fun that I decided to come back for one more year! Their animals are so sweet and it makes for such a special experience for the kids! If you scroll through the pictures, you can see that in addition to the Christmas setup, they are also doing a pink/Barbie setup and a Wednesday/Nevermore setup. I will need a heads up if you sign up and want to also use one of those as it takes a little extra time.

Downtown minis are sold out, and I only have ONE spot left for Jungle minis. That will be it for non-themed minis then I have this plus two other cute Christmas setups. I hope to see you all this holiday season!

I've really enjoyed working on these because there is so much love and happiness in every picture. I can hear belly laughs, and I can feel the toddler hugs. The way they wrap their arms around you with the sweetest squeeze. I love capturing the feelings of those moments because they sure are the ones we always want to remember.

This was their last photo shoot as a family of three, and I'm so happy they'll have these memories to hold on to. I can't wait to meet their sweet girl next. This little dude was such a cutie and is going to make the best big brother!

When I started my rebrand, a lot of other ideas ended up coming along with it. Redoing my website was a big one. But I had this idea to do a video (which turned into multiple videos) to show who I am, behind the scenes of me shooting, and client testimonials. This was out of my comfort zone, but I wanted a way for new clients to connect with me before booking. I'm really thankful to those that have helped my visions come to life and have supported me along the way. Part 1 of 2 of the testimonials. Thank you so so much Steph ❤️

I can finally share what's been in the works for over 6 months now, and I'm so excited 🎉

I decided to do a complete rebrand - new logo, new website, new headshots, branding/testimonial videos, the list goes on. I was very intentional with every detail and have spent so much time making sure everything represented me in a way that felt right.

My old logo and site were made very early on in my career. So much has changed since then, both personally and professionally. Once I started to dive into every corner of my site, I realized how much was outdated and needed to be updated. My editing style isn't the same. The areas my site focused on weren't the main things I shoot now. So we kept diving deeper and making more changes. I really wanted you to be able to go to the site and get a good idea of who I am and what you will get when booking with me.

This year will be 11 years since I started my business. I worked so hard to build my business up, and in more recent years, there's been some things that have slowed me down. The last 6 years especially have personally changed me in many ways. I've had 2 beautiful babies that I have given my all to. I unexpectedly lost my mom in 2020, and if you've been through a significant loss, you know the toll it takes. Between navigating motherhood, grief, and all the changes this world has thrown our way, it was a lot.

So this is my way of saying that I'm back in full force! My passion, my motivation, my excitement for my company is stronger than ever. I will still be part time for the rest of this year, but heading into 2025, I will be full time and hoping to see as many of your faces and capture as many of your memories as possible.

Thank you for your support, truly. Whether you're new here or have been here since the beginning, if you book me year after year or if you show love on here, I really appreciate you. I couldn't do my dream job without you all!
