Callicoon Pride Afterparty at the Delaware Youth Center!
June 18th at 8pm!
During the summer of 2002 in the small hamlet of Callicoon, the LGBTQIA+ community formed the Day to be Gay Foundation (DTBG). Spearheaded by trailblazers like Kathy Reiser, David Knudsen, and Chuck Laven, the event was a day-long community picnic that brought together more than 500 participants....
20 years later we are coming together for a night of celebration, libation, dancing, and summer magic. The Callicoon Pride Afterparty will begin at 8pm at The Delaware Youth Center after a full day of Catskill Pride events taking place in and around the hamlet.
All ages are welcome! (Must obtain wristband at check-in for alcoholic purchases.).
Tickets are $10 online/ $12 at the door (advance purchase is HIGHLY recommended).
The party kicks off at 8pm with DJ Lani Lan spinning an eclectic mix of beats to get you out on the dance floor. Two bars by The Stumble Out (Livingston Manor) will have beer, non alcoholic beer, soft drinks, white wine, red wine, and a signature cocktail available for purchase.
Dessert stations by The Neon Croissant will have cookies, brownies and cupcakes for sale!
Hit the dance floor, enjoy a cocktail in the Litt Lounge, beat your face at the glam stations, or simply enjoy the music, the lights, and the colorful celebration happening all around you.
Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to The Newburgh LGBTQ+ Center, a BIPOC led local non profit organization dedicated to protecting and advocating for the LGBTQ+ community.
Hope to see you this Summer in Callicoon!
