Looks like the weather on Sunday, June 23 will be fine for the Garden tour. Tickets available at Symphonynh.com. $20. Or start at the Hunt Community at 11 Allds Street in Nashua. Plenty of parking and they are offering complimentary refreshments, piano music and a plein air painter in addition to their lovely patio.

Great news! Friends of Symphony NH Garden Tour is scheduled for June 25th, 2023. 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rain or Shine. Tickets on sale soon or at the garden gate. Gardens and points of interest will be in the Milford/Brookline area this year. Two gardens this year are more than two acres of cultivated flowers, trees and hardscaping. Truly a pleasant way to spend the day. More info to come.

Attend LaBelle LIghts at LaBelle Winery in Derry for a magical walkthrough of 500,000 lights from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Enjoy a live music at the gate and a cup of hot cocoa before embarking on the walk. Half the gate price goes to Friends of Symphony NH for the Symphony's programming. $20 adults, $10 children. Free parking. Get tickets onsite and please mention the Friends.

Ornaments will be for sale at the Holiday concert tonight at Elm Street Middle School. Tickets can be had at the door, but a vaccination card is necessary. And masks.

There will be no Holiday House Tour this year but instead we have created an ornament celebrating the 100th anniversary. There’s are two designs. One with a portrait of Beethoven and the other with a signature of our maestro, Roger Kailua. $25, with profits to support the Symphony. For mail orders contact. [email protected].

Friends of Symphony NH regret that there will be no Holiday House Tour this year due to the current health crisis.

But, we welcome you to a virtual tour of the last ten years of our very popular, very beautiful and much beloved event.

Here's to all the homeowners who opened their homes and the many decorators and florists who contributed time and talent. In just the past 12 years, we have raised close to $170,000 for Symphony NH, a premiere cultural institution based in Nashua, with outreach to Concord, Manchester and Keene. Additional programs encourage local school kids to get excited about music, especially classical music.

May you all have a happy holiday season and be inspired by these colorful images to add a bit of happiness to your own space.

Holiday House Tour Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m. Free wine tasting at Fulchino, hot cider and cookies at 85 Concord St. and four more fabulous homes from the 1890s to the 1990s, all beautifully dressed for the season. One Victorian, one Federal-style from 1937, one new post and beam, one 1905 farmhouse, one gracious Tanglewood plus free wine tasting at Fulchino Vineyard and goodies and music at the Hunt Community. Noon to 4 p.m. both days, except Fulchino is open until 5 p.m. $20 at the door, $17 pre-sale at symphonynh.org or outlets.

" I particularly wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the Symphony New Hampshire's Garden Tour that same day. I went at 10AM that day with a friend. I have gone most years in the past -- this one was especially interesting I thought, with the addition of the lavender fields and the pasta farm! So kudos to all of you who were involved -- great job!"

Garden Tour is coming next weekend and the weather looks like it will be cooperating. Five great private gardens include an inside tour of a berm home with very unusual decor. Also gardener Erica Moncada will be selling her cut flowers in simple arrangements at Pitarys Garden Center on both days. Tickets at symphonynh.org
