Twelve19 Events LLC is offering a 3 hour online seminar on July 7, 2024 from 10:00am EST until 1:00pm EST.
In this course, you’ll learn all the ins and outs of what it takes to be a successful day of coordinator. Today, day of coordinators are more essential than ever before. A day of coordinator is a couple's biggest advocate and ensures the wedding day runs as smooth as possible while taking care of any problems that may occur. A good day of coordinator is friendly, helpful, and stern. They are also team players, have great communication skills, and have an eye for detail.
This course will teach you everything you need to know to start off correctly! It will give you the solid foundation you need in order to have overall wedding terminology and day of knowledge. You will also have the option to work alongside Twelve19 Events to gain on-sight experience.
We’ll take you step by step through the setup/breakdown, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with sample timelines.
After completing this day of coordinator seminar, you will:
* Be familiar with wedding terminology
* Have a better understanding of the wedding flow and timelines/how to maneuver the timeline in a timely manner
* Understand what goes into the setup and breakdown of a wedding
* Be able to resolve any conflicts that may arise
* Know what to wear and what to bring to a wedding
* Be able to handle surprises with ease
* How to be an advocate for your client
* Have day of coordinator checklists to ensure you do not forget a thing for the day of

THE COORDINATOR'S (Twelve19 Events) SERVICES WILL INCLUDE:
* One welcome meeting upon booking for the coordinator to gain an overall understanding of your wedding vision
* Two phone calls or zoom meetings before your big day for the day of timeline and to go over your decor vision (Starting 90 days out from your wedding day)
* Tour the venue with the couple and create their floor plan
* Make a detailed day-of itinerary and distribute it to all vendors involved
* Management and coordination with all vendors and venue personnel
* Keep everyone on the same track throughout the duration of the ceremony and reception
* Coordinate with all vendors on the day-of
* Assist directing guests to the ceremony and reception location
* Take care of any problems that may occur
* Be the point of contact on your wedding day
* Make sure all vendors arrive on time
* Ensure the couple has a photo checklist for the photographer (Makes the pre-ceremony and post-ceremony photos run smoothly and in a timely manner)
* Organize the send-off
* Make sure all guests are seated in a timely manner to begin the ceremony on time
* Bridal emergency kit (Tylenol, bobby pins, safety pins, band-aids, etc.)
* Conduct one-hour rehearsal (Either the day before or the day of the wedding)
* Full decor for the ceremony and reception venue
* 12-hour coordination (decor set-up and breakdown included in this time)
* One planner and one assistant
* Access to use any of our decor items for FREE

Neon signs can either be plugged into a wall outlet or they can come with a battery pack (make sure that option is selected before purchasing the sign). We have seen the signs hung from doors, arches, greenery walls, etc. They really add to the ambiance of your decor vision, especially when paired with candles!

We also offer decorating only services! Some of the packages even let you use any decor item we have in our inventory for FREE! We have glass vases, lanterns, faux florals, taper candle holders, faux taper/pillar/floating candles, arches, arch draping, etc.
We would take care of decorating the following:
•Ceremony arch/arbor/pergola/chupa
•Ceremony aisle
•Ceremony chairs
•ALL reception tables (sweetheart table, head table, king table, guest tables, dessert table, memory table, welcome/gift table, etc)
•Place signs/pictures on easels (welcome sign, seating chart, bridal portrait, etc)
*We do not hang nor drape anything from ceilings, walls, etc*
These packages are great for those couple who have a short "setup" timeframe and prefer to not have family/friends/wedding party setting the decor for them. It allows the couples, family, friends, and/or wedding party to sit back and relax while a professional takes care of the decor logistics ✨
