california has really been on our hearts. one of our favorite california venues is . we recently visited this scenic space, located north of san francisco. the landscape is just breathtaking.

we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the tragic loss happening in the los angeles area. california is special and it has been somewhere we frequently visit for both business and pleasure.

we’re at a loss for words and send our love to the many people who have been affected by the fires. there is a link in my bio highlighting our industry friends who are impacted and need our help. this was thoughtfully put together by .

it’s a new year, so i wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself. i’m jessica sloane and i’ve been an event planner + designer for over 15 years.

we work on weddings, galas, corporate events, birthday parties, retreats, set design and really anything that requires a bit of style!

nashville has been home for over two decades. we’ve witnessed it’s expansion as it has become a destination for all kinds of events! we will always have a soft spot for travel, so we are still welcoming worldwide destination opportunities.

🖤 you could have probably guessed, but my favorite (non) color is black. i have a thing for textures and natural elements, so you’ll always see those 2 things in my designs.

🦮 i have a son (sully) who is in middle school and we adopted our sweet pup (biscuit) during covid.

🍷 i have a level two WSET certificate, which i’m excited to keep putting to good use!

✨ my motto is that there is beauty in absolutely everything, even the hard stuff!

📋 i’ve been named one of the top five nashville wedding planners and have been published in over 10 bridal publications (among peers i admire, so that’s a humble and grateful brag).

🏍️ i love traveling to stay inspired and nourish my soul. looking at italy for this year.

we are thrilled to announce that we are now offering associate planner packages with our talented team member, macey! after 2.5 years with our team, macey has worked closely with jessica on many events to learn our values and what it takes to produce our thoughtful vision. jessica designs, macey runs logistics and our same fabulous team executes. with 15 years in the industry, jessica has mastered the art of events and looks forward to continuing to build her team.

this offering allows us to do more events and offer our known style and production to those with varying budgets.

we’re here to take care of things and get the job done, but we have a lot of fun doing it! 🖤

favorite moment: the final walk through with my clients. after hearing their dream and vision for their event, several months (or years) of planning and many hours of production, showing them the end result is one of the most rewarding parts of our work. pulling it all together takes a lot of love and attention with a solid team. we’re grateful for the wonderful clients we serve!

the earlier you book an event planner, the better. why? an experienced planner is a resource as you navigate booking a venue, determining a budget and hiring your team of vendors.

would you build a house without hiring an architect or renovate without a general contractor? i often tell people, what we do is the same: we are the architect, general contractor and little bonus, some of us are also interior designers.

our design and planning offerings expand far beyond weddings. another gala is in the line up and this time it’s for the . guests will be invited to partake in a journey at "midnight around the mediterranean" at the new .nashville. we are incorporating lush florals and blue velvet chairs into the design as a nod to the artistry of the opera itself!

we love to tell our client's story by creating little moments that embody the event and wanted to share a little tip. when styling a flat lay, consider the subject with placement, like the primary piece of an invitation suite and use elements from the environment to add depth and interest. here i took jasmine from the tree of the venue and a velvet linen that we used on the tables to layer and bring life to the composition. paper design by .

venue spotlight — we have loved getting to know the spaces at . this dreamy resort is tucked away in the lush hills of franklin, right outside of nashville. we’re beginning preliminary planning and design for a special event here next fall. we can’t wait to see what unfolds!

this may come as a surprise but we don’t just do weddings. as an event planner, of course weddings are a major focus for us but our work expands beyond that. we design anything from fundraisers, company events, galas, holiday parties, engagement parties, to interiors and retreat experiences. our love for planning exists in many forms and we welcome any opportunity big or small.
