For those of you new here, I thought I would take the time to (re)introduce myself!

Hi👋🏼 I’m Meg and I’m the person behind Mic Drop Nashville.

A little backstory: After years of working in “corporate America” and most recently drowning in the mortgage business, I decided to take a risk.. One day I sat down and wrote out all the things that I loved/made me happy (karaoke being one of them), and I came up with a plan to turn it into a business. After weeks of throwing around multple ideas, many conversations with my husband/family members/friends, I finally saw the vision for Mic Drop Nashville! I launched the company at the end of 2023.

✨A few facts about me:

• I’m married to a CPA. Yep, it’s true, opposites attract! He’d rather sit back and observe a crowd from a distance, and I’d rather be all up in it! Funny story, he doesn’t like karaoke.. 😂 But, he gladly supports my love for it!

• We have a 5 year old goldendoodle who we are absolutely obsessed with! His name is Woodley🥰

• I graduated from the University of Alabama. 🐘Roll Tide! Shortly after graduation, I moved to Nashville and have never looked back!

• I currently still work full-time as a Care Partner for seniors. The most rewarding job I’ve ever had❤️

• I’m the cool aunt! Ask my niece and two nephews😉 My entire family still lives in Alabama, but I make it back home as much as I can.

• Started my world traveling a little later in life, but it’s a priority for me and my husband now. ✈️Exploring new places and cultures is something I get so excited about!

• My favorite karaoke song(s) is anything Dixie Chicks (The Chicks), Dreams by Fleetwood Mac, Give Me One Reason by Tracy Chapman, and a few others lol.

Anyways, if you’ve made it this far, I hope you know how much I appreciate your support!🫶🏼 I am most proud of Mic Drop and I’m so excited for this year!
