In tourist towns like ours, many local businesses use Rack Cards to promote their shops, studios, attractions, and events. Our Magic Showroom is no different. We've been using Rack Cards with great success for over 10 years and are in the process of increasing the number of Rack Card Displays in Brown County.

Denny's Magic Showroom is investing in multiple Rack Card Displays and we're looking to partner with small businesses in Brown County to host a display or advertise. You might have seen similar type rack card displays in local hotels, gas stations, and restaurants. The biggest problem with these these displays are they are placed by national marketing companies and they're promoting events and attractions that are NOT local. This doesn't help us, but actually hurts us by pulling tourist away from Brown County. Let's keep all the tourist in Brown County! The Magician's Dream!

Learn basic sleight of hand and the historical, psychological, mechanical, and manipulative dynamics of theatrical magic. Entertain family and friends. Fool yourself and gain an abiding appreciation of this secretive art and esoteric craft from lifelong practitioner Tom Hastings, a retired high school teacher. Hastings has been performing magic for more than 60 years and teaching at Ivy Tech since 2014; he also works at Denny's Magic & Fun Shop in Nashville, Indiana.

NOTE: This class is not eligible for fee remission for Ivy Tech employees due to limited capacity.

SUPPLIES: A supply kit will be provided, which includes two decks of Bicycle cards and an assortment of items from Denny's Magic & Fun Shop!
