Ron Pateras lived a fulfilling 59 years of life dedicating his time to family, friends and work. Spending the majority of his life in Chicago, Ron raised three beautiful daughters – Melissa, Alexa and Grace – with their mother, Sue.

He worked hard on his career as a concert promoter, starting in 1985 at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL then joined Jam Productions in 1995 in Chicago, IL for 24 years. He eventually landed at Neste Live! In Nashville, TN in 2019. Ron was a member of the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, International Entertainment Buyers Association, served on the IEBA Board of Directors and was an alum of Leadership Music. He was nominated for the ACM Don Romeo Talent Buyer of the Year in 2023 and was named IEBA Corporate Buyer of the Year in 2017.

He loved spending his days making the world a happier place, one concert or festival at a time. Everyone loved working and laughing alongside Ron and he found a forever home in Nashville. Ron left his greatest mark on what he was most proud of … his family and friends.

The Ron Pateras IEBA Scholarship has been established in his honor. A link to contribute to the scholarship is here: https://www.ieba.org/educational-outreach-donation-options. An Open House Celebration of Life will be held at the Live Nation Nashville office at 410 Chestnut St on November 14th from 4p-6p for family and friends to raise a glass to Ron, who will be missed beyond measure♥️
