Smokin' Buttz BBQ Smokin' Buttz is a Food Truck that has been serving some of the best BBQ in Middle Tennessee Smokin' Buttz started as a weekend hobby in December 2013.

During this time Smokin Buttz' would do weekend catering which included birthday parties, family reunions, family dinners and graduation parties. In May 2014, Smokin' Buttz decided to participate in the Taste of Smyrna with a tent, a couple of tables and our mouth watering BBQ. It was at this event where people raved about how good our BBQ was and consistently asked where we would be next. In July

2014 Smokin' Buttz decided to be a food vendor for the Smyrna Fireworks show once again with just a tent, a couple of tables and their mouth watering BBQ. However at this event we had long lines, customers raving about how good the BBQ was and we even sold out. It was at this moment that Smokin' Buttz realized that we must step out on faith and purchase a food trailer. In September 2014, Smokin Buttz did their first event out of the trailer at the Smyrna Depot Days. Since this time Smokin' Buttz has participated and been a vendor at several events. The month of February has been designated as Black History Month and at Smokin Buttz BBQ, we are proud to celebrate the achievements and success of those that came before us ❤️

This month, we pay homage to the amazing resilience and creativity that has shaped the past and given hope to the future. We would not be in business had it not been for the many African American inventors, innovators, and activists that made it possible 🙏🏿

For this, we celebrate the rich history and triumph of African Americans. Happy Black History Month, and don’t forget to support local Black owned business! 👨🏿‍🍳

We’re feeling incredibly grateful for all of YOU – our food truck fans and our sauce and rub customers – who made 2024 so unforgettable.

As a small business 2024 came with a lot of highs and lows but we remain faithful in all things because we know we serve a BIG GOD. 🙌🏽

Hey Ya’ll 👋🏿 It's the Sauce Boss checking in! It’s been 6 months since I stepped out on faith and left Corporate America to do this Sauce Boss thing, and let me tell you, this journey has been nothing but amazing ✨️

I have learned so many things and met so many amazing people along the way. I have even stepped out and done some out of town shows 🛻 Thanks to Huntsville, Birmingham, Chattanooga, and Sevierville for showing this girl some love ❤️

I even got brave and have had weekends where I did 3 shows at one time 😜 Everybody asked what was I thinking, but with God and my family, I pulled it off 🙌🏾

Who would have ever thought I could pull off 15 Christmas shows, but I did it! 🎄Thanks to my favorite PitMaster for creating such amazing sauces and rubs. Folks absolutely love this stuff 👨🏾‍🍳

Thanks to all of my online, farmers market and market show customers, you are appreciated!! And special thanks to my traveling partner, my sissy Lynoria Cathey 👭🏾
