It's Travel Tuesdays and I wanted to pop in here and keep you all posted on what kind of vacations you can go on for your next trip through Made Simple if you are confused because you are someone that found me for the Downtown Social - I am also a destination wedding planner that plans travel so don't be thrown off.

Let's talk about Italy Southern Region

We are specifically going to site the Amalfi Coastal Regions because Italy is so large that truly you could just travel around for a month and probably still go back to see more.

So without further ado we will do a full breakdown of what an Amalfi Location looks like for a traveler that is with someone else

Yes I know we can do it for cheaper through a hostel
Yes I know it can be cheaper through group travel
BUT that isn't my target audience

No one who is on their honeymoon wants to go and stay in a hostel that they share a bedroom with - sorry but I'm not advertising it.

I'm basing this post off of Nashville TN flights because that's where I live and it's easy for me.

12 day trip
1. Fly into Florence - check into hotel in countryside
2. Rest in countryside hotel
3. Go to a Farm to Table Experience vineyard
4. Take train to Milan for 3 hour and check into hotel
5. Go to the double decker bus and go around town for a tour of one of the richest cities in the world do a private food tour afterwards
6. Free day in Milan for museums and shopping
7. Head to Venice and check into hotel
8. Do a Gondola River Tour
9. Head to Rome from Venice check into hotel
10. Private tour or Rome and see the Parthenon and the Colloseum
11. Have brunch in town and train up to Florence with one last excursion or dinner in Florence
12. Head to airport and travel back to Nashville

Southern Italy is one of the most romantic locations that I have ever been to - and I truly wish that I could have extended my vacation there because it was such an incredibly beautiful location to go to. If you want to see the Amalfi Coast the right way then I recommend doing a vacation that you can enjoy and remember for the rest of your life.

A 12 day vacation gives you enough time to see all of the things you'd like to without being away for work for too long. Consider this trip one that you can take with your significant other or maybe even your best friend.

Day 1 Leave for the airport and arrive in Naples Italy
Day 2 Stay in Naples for 1 night after rest
Day 3 head out to Pompeii Hotel location
Day 4 Stay in Pompeii and take a day to look at Ruins
Day 5 Stay in Pompeii and take a day to look at Mt. Vesuvius
Day 6 Take a train from Pompeii to Sorrento and relax at hotel and beach
Day 7 Take a small day trip to Capri
Day 8 Enjoy the local experience in Sorrento
Day 9 Take a guided tour to visit Amalfi coast, Positano, and Ravello
Day 10 Enjoy last day in sorrento
Day 11 Take Train back up to Naples and stay in hotel for departure
Day 12 Get your last plate of world renowned pasta and then board your flight to head back home

Entire Cost for a couple trip is $3500 -$5000 depending on the time of year

Hey all! I wanted to pop in and try to do some personalized posts that weren't just from my Blog. So my best friend told me that she wanted to spend her 30th in Italy - and I decided to make a template with 2 different options that had a full layout of a mid level travel experience in Italy.

A little bit of context - If you haven't been to Italy it is a large country so if you wanted to see all of Italy I would recommend around 30 days of traveling to do all of Italy - it would probably be impossible to really enjoy yourself to do less than that given the times on the train. So below I have Created a list of What you can see in a 14 day period when visiting northern Italy

Day 1 Fly into Florence January is RT $740 for flights - check into hotel Hotell Boticelli $500
Day 2 Hotel Boticelli relaxation and local day
Day 3 Hotel Boticelli WInery & Farm Day
Day 4 Check out of Boticelli and then take a train to Milan and check into Double Tree for $500 for 3 nights
Day 5 Double Tree
Day 6 Double Tree
Day 7 Check out of Double Tree and take a train to Venice Hyatt Centric Venice Murano
Day 8 Venice
Day 9 Check out of Venice and Take a Train To Rome Hotel arison $350
Day 10 Rome
Day 11 Check out of Rome and Catch a hotel near Florence Hotel Boticelli 3.2 miles from airport
Day 12 Florence Hotel and get on flight board plane from florence back to Nashville

Overall Cost for 2 on a trip to Northern Italy is $3,385 for 2
Of course with group rates things can be more affordable - but this is a great expectation of what your baseline price will be traveling to Italy (January Pricing)

I want to share a secret with you all that you may not think about if you are a first time traveler overseas.

Do not bring more than what you can carry up a a few flights of stairs when traveling to Europe

My ladies reading this might be like “Oh I will be okay”

When I tell you that every person I’ve ever met that brought way too much to carry to Europe - they were frustrated and moved slower than everyone else with their excessive luggage especially when you are transitional between hotels

Do yourself a favor and only bring what you can carry. Save the heavy luggage for when you travel to the Caribbean ❤️

The only way it’s not an issue is if you plan for a taxi to and from each of your stops
