I hear wedding bells!!!

So excited for Chris and Tatiana’s wedding tomorrow at

Something I loved about this engagement photo shoot was how game they were for me to shoot the entire session on film. I used my trusty Contax 645 and then had some fun shooting my Holga with flash in full sun!

Looking forward to sharing in their special day tomorrow! It’s going to be incredibly beautiful and I seriously can’t wait!

Thirteen years ago this week I brought a film camera to my dear friend’s wedding (a 35mm Pentax K1000 to be specific).

I was just a guest and wanted to photograph the day with absolutely no pressure.

I had been toying around with the idea of possibly using film in my wedding photography but was a little nervous to make the leap!

I absolutely loved what I got back from the film lab that day and still do today.

Film is so timeless, nostalgic, and beautiful.

Now I’ve been using film in my wedding photography ever since and couldn’t imagine what my journey would look like if I never stepped out of my comfort zone and stretched myself. I am better for it and I hope it shows in my work ♥️

Long time no see…

Haven’t posted on Insta since September, which in social media time is FOREVER!

I have so much to share but sometimes I get caught up on what to say in the caption. I want to be authentic and eloquent in what I share but I’m not letting that stop me anymore.

My intention going forward is to show up on this platform and post even when I’m struggling with what to say ♥️ So today I’m here just to say hello and get things moving!
