One of my fave things about specializing in destination weddings is the amount of time we get with our couples. It’s super easy to pop in quick 30 minute sesh in all their fave places!!! This was one of 3 photo shoots we did during their Costa Rican wedding, one sesh was of them surfing!!!🏄

No trick photography just stepping back to see Jessica radiate during wedding prep!!!

I’m not sure when wedding photography became so messy?!? A challenge to blur a moment, to only photograph walking feet, to throw direct flash on a white dress to flatten it out, or to forget weddings are moments that photographers are responsible for turning into memories to never be forgotten.

I’m here for a bit of the trick photography trend, I like to play a bit too. But what I’m really here for is the stepping back and documenting life IRT as it unfolds without any tricks, posing or staged scenes. The trick photo trends will be gone soon enough but these moments will truly last forever.
