Have you ever been curious about our company name??? I get a lot of questions about the origin story of “The Florista” and thought I would share!

When I started my floral business in college, I was also a barista at the time. I had always had a love for flowers and coffee culture- at one point I even wanted to open up a floral coffee shop! I was pretty much consumed at all times with either flowers or coffee depending on the day- and at some point, some of my friends started calling me “The Florista.” The name just stuck with me and has been with us since the beginning of 2019!

For me, The Florista, represents a time in my life where I felt so optimistic about the future and I love the fun energy around it. Even though I’m no longer a barista, you can always find me with a coffee in hand in my studio☕️🌸
