Last Year Santa was Free with a cheap plush suit with fake wig , fake long beard boot vinyl inserts that kids did not like and could spot an imposter a mile away. This year Santa was not free to me. Here are the costs of being a Real Santa- wardrobe cost( custom made suit and stocking Amish 4 inch leather belt with 5.5 gold plated SC buckle fur lined real boots plus shirts pants)- $2000, schooling $500, dry cleaning $200, printing $1000, advertising $500, ink and photo paper $400, Santa Stage Set up $1000, lighting and camera equipment $800, grooming $500, hair dresser $200, white gloves $100, travel expenses $800, Time Money and Effort each day to get ready. The cost actually goes on and on. So roughly more than $8000.00 real dollars to be a Real Santa. I really do not want to hear that I am making money off of Jesus's Birthday, or I am charging "non profits" money. I am not doing it for money. Yes I just need to recoup some of the cost of being a Real Santa. I do a lot charity work by myself, the Eagles and the Elks. I do Santa for The Joy and Love for Christmas. I am always extremely slow in the Tree Trimming Business this time of year from Thanksgiving til New Years. I have precious time to spread Holiday Cheer. I get more Joy making everyone happy more than anything. It is unfortunate that I do not have the resources i e unlimited amount of money and unlimited time to do more charity. If you want to donate your money then let's do it. It is fun and very costly being a Real Santa.
Not to mention how much it cost to feed the Raindeers and Jolly St. Nick.
