Reviews like this make all the hard work our team puts in totally worth it!!

For the last 3 years Carter and Camp Schodack/Berkshire Retreat have graciously allowed our group of young-at-heart adults to invade their grounds as we host our annual Camp Takeover, an adult summer camp weekend. To say that they are accommodating and helpful would be the understatement of the century. Leading up to each event Carter spends months fielding our ridiculous requests and helping us make our absurd dreams a reality, just so a bunch of overgrown children can live out the summer camp dreams. During the weekend the Camp staff work tirelessly to ensure that the campus is always clean and set up for whatever we need. They help run events for us and are always the most friendly, helpful, and accommodating of people. We are always astonished that they allow our group hooligans back but consider ourselves so lucky that they do! If you are looking to host an event you will not find a more beautiful setting with such amazing amenities, nor will you find a staff that exhibits such grace and professionalism regardless of the challenges thrown at them. 10/10 would recommend chatting with Matt the night watchman!

Now that the new year is here we are able to once again turn our attention to the amazing events we have lined up this season.

We are also very excited to be using our newly renovated Dining Hall which is having major facelift right now...It is still under construction but we are really looking forward to celebrating in this space with all our guests this year!

A few weeks ago we came to the end of the busiest post-season line-up that we have ever had.

We hosted weddings, sports teams, alumni groups, family camps, military charities, festivals, retreats, parties (and even a Grammy-winning Gospel group!)

Those who were involved in all the hard work that make these events come to life, know that the magic is made through hard work and dedication and we could not have been prouder to have had such a talented team working with us!

So to everyone that helped us this year, from our chefs, housekeeping, maintenance team, weekend helpers, or the front-of-house team - Thank you.

We are almost fully booked for 2023 and cannot wait to welcome more people through our doors to create amazing events, retreats, and experiences!

We haven't posted for a while as we have been soooooo busy with our amazing rental groups this year - but we are excited to announce that Fall has come to Camp once again!!
