I am truly going to miss my time at the beach. I should’ve gone more for leisure. But I am super grateful for my time here in Florida and having a job where I’m even able to work on the beach. These beaches taught me photography. It has truly been a gift from the Lord. Forever praising Jesus for this gift, clients, and opportunities! Okay enough mushy gushy, I wasn’t planning on doing that. 🥲 love you friends!

Also, super grateful for clients like these ones pictured who choose me time & time again. You da best 🧡

I have too many favorites from this session. Such a beautiful family!!! I enjoyed frolicking through the sand AND water with them. This family wanted to do some water photos & I’m so glad they did! True memories were made! I don’t want my sessions to be boring and a drag that’s for sure. I want you to have fun and enjoy being with your family like you normally would making memories! I’m sure going to miss beach sessions. This is where I grew my business and have gotten so comfortable with taking pictures and editing the beach so much. With moving to SD, I feel like I’m starting from square one! Location scouting, getting used to working with sun placement with mountains, green and brown colors, and editing them. But oh am I ready for the challenge and experience to learn & FLOURISH in this new state. When we get there I will definitely be taking y’all location scouting with me behind the scenes so stay tuned!

Congratulations to the Thiesse’s! This day was absolutely dreamy, whimsical, and magical. All the things. Backyard weddings will always have my heart. 🧡

Remember that life changing announcement I was talking about like a week ago. Well HERE IT IS. The moment we’ve all been waiting for. Well.. maybe just my little family.

It’s been over a year waiting to see what our future holds so here’s the news. From waves to mountains, we’re moving! Yup. You heard that right. And we’re moving to South Dakota! July 2023. I am accepting any and all tips for living in the snow haha. We are over the moon excited and can’t wait to explore our new home!

I can’t believe we’re officially moving away from Florida. So sad! I’m going to miss it here (except for the hurricanes + traffic). But, most of all I’m going to miss the people and friends I’ve made here! Thank goodness social media is a thing because you know I’m still going to keep up with each and everyone of you. Thank you for being a friend!

With this being said, I’d like to share some info for the new year:

Unfortunately, I won’t be accepting any new bookings for wedding photo/video starting immediately. (If you are already booked for 2022, you’re good to go still.)

I will only be offering 1-2 portrait sessions per week next year.

Books officially close May 21, 2023. Unfortunately, I won’t be taking any more sessions after that date.

I hope I can see as many of you as I can for one last session before we go! I will also be solo parenting for the majority of the time until our move. So bare with me on my availability. I will be coming out with calendars again of open dates so it’s easier for me to have child care lined up ahead of time.

Thank you for sticking around to hear the news! I hope you’ll stick around even longer after the move to see my adventures in South Dakota!

Fun fact: I’m originally from Arizona. So I feel truly blessed to be able to experience living in different states, climates, and landscapes. The desert, tropical, and now the great Midwest!

Love this sweet family!!! This full water session was just what I needed for my creativity. And let me tell you.. trying to get good pics while you’re constantly being washed over by waves is no small feat! I am so proud of myself for getting out of my comfort zone and doing this. So fun!!! So dreamy! ✨ Water sessions have been my jam lately! I have a few more that I so excited to share. Can’t wait to share those! In the mean time, here are some of my favorite pics from a photography workshop I attended this past May. I can’t believe I haven’t shared these yet!

You can also get in the water at the end of your regular portrait session without it being a whole water session. We can just go knee deep and spend about 10 min for it at the end of your session! It’s always so fun & makes for great memories! **This isn’t something I prompt or have you do at the end of your session. I found not every client of mine wants to go in the water. So, please request it & let me know if you want to do this!

You might not know this (if you’re not a client), but I edit with grain sometimes! I can’t believe I don’t share photos like this more often! But, I’ve been doing this for a few years now and if I see a few photos in your gallery that are just begging for grain, it’s happening! You will get the same photo without grain as well. The photos with grain still align with my color correction just a little grain babyyyy. I just can’t help it sometimes and some photos need a little artful touch!!! Love it so much. ✨ Double tap if you like the grain! 🧡
