Good afternoon Rockin L Family and Friends!

The short ask: Please share our facility page with anyone you know that might be in need of a venue for weddings, reunions or parties of any kind.

Now for the long of it and those with time to read on:

Some of you may have heard by now that the owner of this facility experienced a loss he could never imagine over the weekend. If you’ve ever been to a wedding or event at our facility then you probably have met or seen Chris Loukanis. He makes a habit of making friends with just about everyone who crosses his path. Unfortunately, Chris was hit with a tough loss of his barn over the weekend that housed a ton of things that brought him the most joy these days.

Over the last few years, the downturn in the economy & crushing vertebrae injury pushed him into an earlier retirement than he originally had planned. He has turned managing and beautification of the facility into an income stream to sustain his livelihood since retirement. This barn was housing lots of his animals that he used to supplement his income, including brooders full of chicks and cages of show rabbits. He was making its his mission to breed and raise quality show rabbits for his grandkids to show at the county fair. He also had his new bad boy lawnmower in the barn for maintenance, which if you know him, was his absolute favorite toy. He saved and waited for years to purchase a brand new one after making the prior one last for over 15 years! He was on it daily mowing or mulching grass or leaves up somewhere on the property. His Ranger buggy was another item lost, another daily use item he would use to spray for weeds, bugs, check the fences and feed the ducks on the beautiful blue pond you see from the facilities front porch.

Upon further review, insurance will be minimal, minimal help. Our hope by asking for your helping in sharing our facility is that we reach people to help fill his calendar up so that he is able to rebuild and repurchase needed equipment to keep operations going.
