🎄🎉 What a blast we had at the Middle School Winter Party! 🎅❄️ From Santa hats at the air hockey table to friendly pool matches, it was nonstop fun and holiday cheer. Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable night! 🥳✨

🍂 This fall, students in our Upcycling Class learned to transform reused and repurposed materials into beautiful, unique creations. As much as possible, we worked with used goods and materials to create these one-of-a-kind items.

We’re thrilled to share some incredible news: thanks to 50 generous donors, our community came together and raised over $10,000 in a week—unlocking the $5,000 match and bringing in over $15,000 to support mountain youth and families.

That said, there’s still time to contribute! Colorado Gives Day is next Tuesday, December 10, and we’re setting our sights on raising $25,000 to support programs that empower and uplift local youth.

We're thankful for all the staff and students who made the Chinook West Potluck such as special (and delicious) way to spend lunch period. Chinook West will be closed all next week for Thanksgiving Break -- which is good, because we may still be digesting then!

We’re stoked to announce that Can'd Aid just hooked up Nederland youth with 40 fully built skateboards and helmets!

Thanks to their generosity, every student at Chinook West and all the Teen Center youth employees got to pick out a board and helmet of their choice—talk about rolling in style!

Even better, we now have a fleet of skateboards ready to shred at the Teen Center, so anyone who stops by can borrow one and join the fun.

Can’d Aid, a nonprofit based in Longmont, CO, is all about helping under-resourced communities stay active, creative, and inspired. Their people-powered programs are making a huge difference—and we’re so grateful they’ve rolled up to support our mountain youth.

Thank you, Can’d Aid, for spreading the stoke and keeping our crew ready to carve up the pavement!
