Our History

1916 Valley Inn opens with 65 rooms, restaurant, banquet space, and bar. The cost was approximately $200,000. It was designed by Edwin Bergstrom, son of George O. Bergstrom, mayor at the time. Edwin also designed the Pentagon.

1967 Valley Inn shuts its doors on May 26th.

1967 Valley Inn opens the doors for the community to buy furnishings, hardware, silverware, etc. Everything was sold, leaving Goodwill Industries with $3,000 in sales.
