We had an impromptu maternity session when my brother and his wife were up to Wisconsin a while back. And tomorrow, it’s baby shower day for these two! Can’t wait to meet their little peanut!

As we’ve turned the page into September, I’ve definitely put my focus back into homeschooling our girls and all that entails… but I’m still working like crazy to finish up my summer work!

Grant’s session was such a blast, and I got to dust off techniques I haven’t used in a hot minute… these low-light, moody indoor portraits are simply amazing. And the best is yet to come!

But now for the hardest part, which version do you like better?

I was determined to get a sneak peek posted for and family. Today. Despite a temperamental computer and kids that have all but forgotten how to stay sleeping at this point. 😝 So today it is. Even if there’s only 20 minutes left of it. 😂

In other news, we had a nice time and felt grateful we could provide such a nice snack to thousands of mosquitoes that evening. 🦟

Nothing makes you feel like a rockstar photographer like Grace and her mom traveling about 6 hours up from Iowa to have her senior photos done up here! We hit some iconic spots in the Appleton area while the rest of the fam hung out at a motel. Then these Packer fans went up to Green Bay the next morning before traveling all the way back home.

Grace, it was an absolute honor to meet and photograph you!
