OVERFLOW PARKING

Simplot, Tinsley's, and Russell Park will all be available for parking during fair events! This is due to the limited amount of parking space in the park and on the Fairgrounds.
Please utilize this extra parking since these business are so gracious to offer their parking lots!!
Please use caution when crossing the street and highway.
Russell Park is located across the river from the park. Turn south at the Mill to get there. You will be able to walk across the new Swinging Bridge to access the park.

The Ag Society, Simplot, and Tinsley's are not responsible for any accidents.

Fair clean up is tonight at 6:30pm! All 4H'ers and their families are encouraged to come help! There's lots of work to be done!

We need help cleaning up the fairgrounds.
Monday, July 22nd at 6:30pm
Please bring buckets, rags, dish soap, garden rakes, dirt shovels, leaf rakes, work gloves, etc.
We need to get everything out of the barns and into the exhibit building. All display cases will need to be wiped downed. This is the chance to get our fairgrounds looking nice before fair begins! The more people that come to help, the faster it will get done!

REMINDER!!! July 22nd at 6:30pm
This is the only Pre-Fair clean-up/work nights. We will begin working at 6:30 p.m.

Grandstand events this year include:
Thursday and Friday nights Extreme Bullriding by Double S Bull Company LLC - Extreme Bull Riding Tour
Saturday night Demo Derby by Wreckless Promotions
Sunday afternoon Truck and Tractor Pull by Outlaw Truck & Tractor Pulling Association

There is NO CONCERT this year!

As usual, all tickets purchased online can only be picked up at will-call at the ticket trailer during the week of fair! They do NOT get mailed or emailed, and are NOT available to print off after purchase!
If you have problems purchasing your tickets, please call the office at 402-841-3798.

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE

Antelope County Ag Society

On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the Antelope County Ag Society met to discuss the new Youth Enrichment
Center. Attending the meeting were Ryan Stearns, Architect, Chris Daniels from Huff Construction and
Boyd Pedersen, electrician. The board approved the general contractors bid from Huff Construction for $940,000 and in separate motions approved Klabenes Construction for site work and Boyd’s Electric for the electrical work. This will potentially bring the total cost to $1.3 million.

The Youth Enrichment Center fund raising committee will continue to fundraise and look for grants to help with building costs.

The proposed start date is post fair 2024.

Last day for Festival of Trees! So many kids activities, hot cocoa and apple cider, cookies, and voting for your favorite tree and gingerbread house!

Admission $5. Kids 5 and under are free! Open until 5pm!!

The Antelope County Ag Society's annual meeting is ✨️TONIGHT✨️ November 27th at 8 pm at the Exhibit Building. This meeting is open to the public and we really need you all!

Registered voters in Antelope County get to elect board members. If anyone is interested in being a board member they need to call Char Carpenter at 402-841-3798 to have their name put on the ballot.

The Ag Society also needs people to be associate members. These members don't get to vote during meetings but get to have their voice heard and bring ideas to the table.

Please, please, please, make it a point to make it to this meeting and share your ideas and opinions and help be the change in Antelope County!

From everyone on the Antelope County Ag Society, thank you!

Fair was a great success this year! Thank you to ALL of our volunteers who give up their time to help our 4Hers and help in the grandstands during events. Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals who donated equipment and time as well, we couldn't do this without you! Fair takes a lot of work and you all do not go unappreciated! We wish we could thank everyone personally!

We hope everyone has a great rest of the summer and good luck to all those who have exhibits going to State Fair!

Fair may be over but we still have lots to clean up! Fair clean up begins at 6pm at the Exhibit building! Supper is being provided by Sly's Family Bar and Grill. Bring your muscles and some water!!

This may be the last day of fair but there's still so much to do!

Make sure you grab some pancakes and listen to church before heading over to the Livestock arena for the Awards and Fashion Show!

The exhibit building will be closing at 2:30 pm today and release of static exhibits begins at 3, with livestock release beginning at 3:30.

4-H'ers, please remember to clean up your stalls/pens and rake all remaining wood chips into a windrow in the aisle.
