Nestled right on 151 in Nellysford, VA In 2023, The Mark Addy Inn is becoming Everett Estate!

Paying homage to Dr. Charles Everett, the original landowner and one of the founders of the University of Virginia Medical School, the Inn is undergoing a full rebranding and renovation. The original log cabin that was built on the property in the early 1800s by Dr. Everett was know as Upland Manor and was a space where he and his good friend Thomas Jefferson would retreat for weekends of relaxati

on and sport. We will soon open our doors again and invite guests to experience the bliss of a quiet, mountanside retreat, complete with stunning decor and modern amenities. Surrounded by scenic, winding roads, an expanse of vineyards and breweries and dotted with antique stores that burst with character, this area of Central Virginia is the perfect place for a getaway. Don't be fooled by our renovation; Everett Estate will still have plenty of character. We have worked hard to maintain the historic charm of the property- a restored record of a bygone era. It is sophisticatd elegance and comfort at its finest with a modern twist. We will begin hosting weddings of up to 125 guests with stay-on-site accommodations for 25-30 guests. We’re looking for an Estate Venue Assistant to help us maintain our luxury property and contribute to memorable weddings and events! This position includes reduced rent and pay based on weekly hours worked.

Perks & Requirements:
✨ Reduced rent for living on-site (one bedroom accommodations)
✨ Help troubleshoot basic house systems (training provided)
✨ Occasionally interact with guests to enhance their experience

Swipe for the glow up 🪄 These pocket doors are our favorite original architectural feature of this home. The wallpaper was sourced from and really set the tone for the other design choices in the common areas. Found the perfect accent chair at that helped inject some vintage into the newly renovated space!

Suite 10’s transformation ➡️ The floors had to be painted in this room. We tried to sand and refinish and couldn’t save the original finished floor in this room and another. So a last minute pivot to paint but it added an unexpected vibrant pop of color 💙 The mountain views and whirlpool bath tub bath help make this room a guest fave!
