85 East Events, Inc. Kicking off the season with a 1 year old birthday party.
For today's menu we started with some fresh oysters, mini Maine lobster rolls, an antipasto and some Italian stuffed mushrooms. We started off the dinner with a Caesar salad, fresh baked dinner rolls, sauteed vegetables, roasted asparagus and some roasted red potatoes. Entrees included chicken Francaise, shrimp and pineapple skewers and some thick cut grilled ribeye steaks.

85 East Events, Inc. Oktoberfest event in Farmingdale. It was a perfect day for the party. The yard looked amazing. The dogs were dressed in Oktoberfest Tees and lederhosen. They set up axe throwing and pumpkin ring toss. There were even some chickens running around the yard.
A shout out to Eddie Plitt and Changing Times in East Northport for the amazing German family recipes. The food was delicious. The guests started off with potato pancakes and house made red cabbage. There was Swedish meatballs over egg noodles in a fantastic gravy. The Schlatte Plate-bratwurst and kielbasa over sauerkraut was very tasty. Next up was some pork schnitzel with apples and onions. The last item up and a crowd favorite, the sauerbraten in a wonderful gravy.

85 East Events, Inc. Some photos from a wedding we just catered at Duckwalk Vineyards on Saturday. Wedding ceremony with over 100 guests outside in the vineyard and then the cocktail hour inside. We had a handful of appetizers such as mini crab cakes, sliced filet mignon crostini, Italian style cocktail meatballs, rustic antipasto, fresh mozzarella and tomato, coconut shrimp, and bruschetta on garlic toast.
Reception outside in the vineyard. The reception was quite a challenge as the bride and groom wanted a family style dinner so all entrees had to be plated on platters and set out on the tables. The menu consisted of 22 full trays of hot food including Tuscan roasted potato wedges, vegetable primavera, Chicken Valentino with spinach, sundried tomatoes, artichoke hearts and asiago cheese with a white wine reduction sauce. Pepper steak rubbed with Italian spices and simmered with tri color peppers and sweet onions. Cod Livornaise with plum tomatoes, fresh garlic, kalamata olives and capers.
The 85 East events, Inc. staff did an amazing job with so many moving parts and such challenging conditions. Congratulations to such a sweet couple, Leo and Geenie. Thank you for choosing 85 East Events to be a part of your very special day.

Another successful weekend of events catered by 85 East Events, Inc. Friday kicked off a 3 day event for McLaren Automotive and the Artura launch party at Rally Point East in Westhampton.
Passed finger foods such as Filet Mignon Crostini, Spring Rolls, Mini Crab Cakes and Chicken Teriyaki Dumplings. The table spread included Fried Ravioli, Swedish Meatballs, an Italian Cold Cut Platter, European Cheese Platter, Hawaiian Chicken Bites, a Crudite Platter and an 88 piece Sushi Platter followed by Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Macaroons. Saturday and Sunday were the breakfast/brunch Artura test drives.
