🏆🥇 Hot Off the Press from the Winter Indoor Coed Softball League! 🥇🏆

We’re serving up some delicious news! 🍽️ Our champions, Sweet Meat, have not only taken home the First Place for the Season, but they’ve also dominated the Tournament Championship! Talk about a double helping of victory! 🎉🥎

With a name that’s as tasty as their performance, Sweet Meat has shown that they’re not just sweet—they’re downright unstoppable! They’ve mashed their way through the competition, proving that a little flavor can go a long way. Who knew winning could be this scrumptious?

Thinking about joining the fun? If you’re ready to trade in your couch for the diamond and bring your own flavor to the league, now’s your chance we are still accepting teams for the upcoming spring season! Sweet Meat has set the bar high, and we can’t wait to see who’s next to step up and bring their A-game.

Hey everyone! We’re excited to announce that we’re looking for free agent players to join our league! Whether you’re a seasoned player or just want to have some fun, we want you on our team!

🔹Female Players for the Strong Hand League!🔹
We have a few coed teams that are in need of talented women for the Strong Hand League! If you’re interested, drop us a message sharing your skill level and preferred positions. We can’t wait to find the perfect fit for you! This league starts 4/2!

🔹Men’s Team Coming Together!🔹
We're also forming a men’s team and need 11 to 12 guys to join us. If you’re ready to hit the field and show off your skills, we’d love to hear from you! This league starts 4/3!

🔹Looking for a Male Pitcher!🔹
Additionally, we’re searching for a male pitcher for one of our oppo hand teams. If you have the skills to take the mound, let us know! This league starts

🥎 Softball Season is Just Around the Corner! 🥎

Hey everyone! We're excited to announce that sign-ups are now open for our softball leagues!

Leagues Available:
- Wednesday Night Stronghand Coed
- Thursday Night Men’s
-Thursday Night Coed Oppo Hand

Start Dates:
- Coed SH: April 2nd
- Men’s: April 3rd
- Coed Oppo: April 3rd

Location: All games will take place at Anderson Park in New Albany, IN

Game Times: Evening games will start as early as 6:30 PM, so be prepared for some exciting action!

Team Fee: $500 per team, which includes eight regular season games and a tournament to finish off the season. League fees are due by March 19th.

This is your chance to have some fun, enjoy the outdoors, and connect with other players. Gather your friends, form a team, and join us for a great season!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! 🦃🦃

The last phase of the 2024 Toys For Tots toy drive is over!!

Late last night and early this morning, we were able to deliver 213 meals to various shelters and food banks across the Metro Louisville area.

Our last delivery (63 meals) was dropped off at Hope Southern Indiana around 11:45 this morning. When we dropped the meals off, we received help from Marcelino (a local immigrant from Mexico and possibly the kindest person we have ever encountered - pictured). We explained to him that we were donating the meals in honor of Bryce Gerlach and Marcelino shared that every time he walks by the New Albany YMCA, he stops and prays for the family of Bryce. Coincidence or fate? Who knows, but we are very happy for the time that we were able to spend with Marcelino.

A big thank you to everyone who donated at the 2024 Toys For Tots toy drive!!!

We are truly privileged to have had the opportunity to help our community while honoring the legacy of a wonderful young man who lost his life to a senseless act of violence. 🙏. Thank you to the Gerlach family!!

Toys For Tots 2024 is a wrap!!!

Thanks to all of the players, teams, coaches, and fans that donated a toy at this years event. We are truly humbled by the generosity shown by each of you. Thank you so much for the continued support and we look forward to seeing you in 2025!

We want to give a big shout out to our 2024 officials and gate workers: Branden Waggoner, Kevin Kiesler, Jessica Lynn Clark, Matt Trueblood, Blaydon McMahel, Paola Calderon and Tricia McMahel.

We also need to thank the staff at City of New Albany Parks and Recreation (Ryan Smith/Alicia Meredith) for being so helpful and accommodating. They really have the best team in the game!

To the folks who actually run this event…THANK YOU!!! Sarah Aynn Todd, Joey McMahel, Chuck Deaton and Sean McMahel are wonderful examples of people who are dedicated to doing what they can to help our community.

A number of years ago this event was founded by Sean Payne and Joel Kintner. The vision then was to host an event, gather a few toys, and hopefully help a few families in need. Fast forward a number of years and the amount of families that have been positively affected by everyone’s generosity is in the thousands. This positive impact was made possible by the players/teams/coaches donating and our staff volunteering. THANK YOU!

Any person who takes time out of their day or money out of their pocket to make a positive impact in our community is good in our book. THANK YOU!!!

In closing, we have some great news to share.

After watching everyone else’s generosity, we were inspired to do a little more.

Most of you are aware of the senseless tragedy that happened at this years Harvest Homecoming Festival in New Albany. A young man from Corydon, Bryce Gerlach, lost his life while enjoying the festival with friends. By all accounts, Bryce was a wonderful person and a huge asset to his community. While we could never make that situation okay, we did decide that at least for one day, we were going to . We reached out to Scott and Heather Gerlach and asked if they would approve of our team donating to a local charity in the name of their son. They gave their blessing so we are going to do just that!

On Thanksgiving morning, Sean Payne, Jimmy McMahel, Ace Kintner, and Joel Kintner will deliver 200 hot meals to Exit 0/Jeffersonville/S and Homeless Coalition of Southern Indiana. We are committed to not only helping our community but also honoring the HERO from Harrison County named Bryce Gerlach!

On behalf of NA Parks, GPE Events, Home Run Baseball Tournaments, Sean Payne, Joel Kintner and Jimmy McMahel…thank you and we’ll see you next year!!!
