Our hearts are broken tonight. Our mentor and friend as well as the kindest heart ever, Leon "Buttons" McBride and the best Santa ever has passed away. Leon, you raised the bar for everyone you taught to clown over the years. I was honored to first meet you in 1994 at Clownfest, Seaside Heights, N.J. and took every class of yours I could find from that moment on. When I began the Smile Factory and taught the Junior Joeys, each one I brought to you at a convention you gave them their very first real clown nose. My son who is blind and you hit it off from the moment he brought your size shoe from John Spears . You couldn't believe he was able to walk the whole boardwalk with them. And you were wonderful to our youngest son, Mike as well.
Thank you will never seem like enough for all you brought to the world of clowning and for children who wanted to meet the real Santa , you were spot on!

His caring for everyone he met was thanks to your support.
Leon, I will continue to teach your signatire phrase and credit you to everyone I teach- "When you're green you grow- when you're ripe you rot"- So, Keep growing!"

I will be demonstrating reflexology at this Wellness Faire this Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 10am- 3pm ! They are expecting 25 Vendors and have a Raffle for a prize worth 1,000.00!

HOSPITAL CARING CLOWN CLASS ALERT!
We're looking for a few good...no GREAT people who would like to become a Specialized Clown and be a part of our brand new Clown Troop, a spinoff of our Smile Factory Clowns called the Southcoast FUNNY BONES ! We will be performing frequently in our local three hospitals of Charlton in Fall River, St.Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, and Tobey Hospital in Wareham.

Find out just how FUN and REWARDING it can be to have fun helping others who really need your "Caring Healing". Our 1 night a week, 10 week class will begin within the next few weeks to give you all the tools you will need to start.

If volunteering is something you've always wanted to do, but didn't know how- this is the perfect fit! Class and belonging to this troop is for ages 18 to 101 years young. I've began my clowning career in hospitals and nursing homes in 1987 and am still as passionate about it as I was back then. Our hospitals are ready and excited to have us attend. Daisy tells you how she became a clown , puts on her makeup and
costume, then her fun MAGIC SHOW begins and YOU get the chance toi spin plates and juggle scarves!
As a finale. we will shoot off our Streamer/Confettri blasters to celebrate SPRING in Fairhaven!!

Thank you Dotty Smith for noticing that I love what I do. It is because I know just how important those Kodak moments are in life and how much trust is put in me to take that special birthday to the heights that will be appreciated by all. There is no re-do, re- spawning or second lives available . You get a shot on one day to celebrate your loved one that will be remembered. My joy is living up to and beyond those expectations. I live to make that special memory the very best indeed.
Last Summer into Fall when i was so sick with asthma, i didnt think i would ever be able to do this again and here i am..clowning again!!Yes...I really do love being the best clown I can be!!❤️

A look at my top requested show for all ages in: Pre- K. programs, Churches,Schools( ALL AGES AND GRADES) Hospitals, Libraries, Events, Colleges, After School Programs, Parks and Recreation facilities, YMCA'S, Senior Living, Synagogues and Camps all year long! Ive done this show since 1987 when a Rabbi asked me if i could dress up in front of their classes and teach them how we become clowns and perform a kittle show. I loved the idea and I've been performing it ever since. It's called "Clowns are People too" . It's a way to touch the hearts of others and help them feel the wealth there is in helping others smile.
"WHEN YOU'VE HELPED SOMEONE YOU DONT KNOW AND WILL PROBABLY NEVER SEE AGAIN , NOT FOR PROFIT OR MONETARY GAIN, YOU WILL TRULY FEEL BLESSED, HAPPY AND RICH."

This past Saturdays Teddy Bear Parade at the Millicent Library was wonderful! Over 100 kids participated and my Great newest clowns pitched in and volunteered as well. I am so proud of Miss Timber, Miss Diane and Miss Jill for all their hard work that day! WOW!! And New Clown students, Miss Dannika and Jonas with their dad, Jeff helped with the tattoos and sticker store! Wow!!! I am so very proud of you all!!

Just wanted to send a big thank you out to all my friends and family for your prayers, well wishes and cards and Moosebuger for my goodie bag!!!. At yesterday's pulmonology appt.I received new information on my asthma and new medications that should have me breathing better for sure. Asthma has and will always be a chronic, lifelong condition for me. But, when you learn how to adjust and stay on top of it, you can halt further damage and do the things you love- like Clowning & Reflexology!!
