Working alongside my daughter, Ava, yesterday was a proud dad moment. She’s physically strong, a fast learner, works hard, doesn’t need to be told twice and manages stress incredibly well, something that comes up often in what I do for a living.

Watching her jump in, stay calm under pressure and get the job done reminded me how special it is to see your kids grow into capable, hardworking people. I couldn’t be prouder of her. ❤️💪

I’ve been DJing weddings for 24 years.

Even after all this time, I’m still my own biggest critic.

At the end of most weddings, I’ll replay the night in my head. I think about the songs I could have played sooner, a transition I could have mixed differently or a moment I could have made just a little bit better for the bride & groom.

Every once in awhile, I’m standing in my DJ booth during the last song of the night, looking out at a packed dance floor like this and I catch myself thinking “I don’t think this wedding could have been DJ’d any better than what I just did.”

Sometimes the stars just align. The crowd is connected, every music choice feels right, my intuition is on point, the mixes fall perfectly into place and for a few hours, magic happens.

I love music. I love everything about it - I’ve loved it my whole life.

I was born to do this. Double Platinum DJ service exists because of this passion.
