Just a girl and her horse...

I spent a few hours with a new-to-me family last weekend! Brother and Sister needed senior style photos, so of course this beautiful young lady needed some pictures with her horse!

🍁 $60 / 20 min time slot ( payment must be prepaid or paid in full at time of session)
🍁 Guarenteed 20 + images via online gallery
🍁 3 outdoor setups (New Bloomfield location)

*** Please arrive on time for your session as these are only 20 minute sessions and they often run back to back.
*** Pets are welcome- we have chickens and bunnies and cats so I ask that they are leashed upon arrival.
*** Pricing is ONLY valid for on site mini sessions.

Well, they say rain on your wedding day is good luck right?!?!

If that is the case, then these two were "showered" with luck Saturday as we all got pretty soggy watching them say, "I do."

When most would have been distraught over the spritzing that began just as the ceremony started, they laughed. Then the rain picked up and they laughed some more.

What a perfectly, imperfect day for an amazing couple. Congratulations Candy and Greg. I am so happy for you both

Gahh... I love senior sessions!!! There is nothing better than highlighting the hobbies and passions of young adults about to step out into the world whether it be college or the work force.

This particular senior hits a little different since I have known her since she was just a little girl stopping around in cowgirl boots and now she has grown into a beautiful young lady.

Many of us can say we were blessed to have that "once in a lifetime" animal whether it be a dog, horse, etc. I myself have been so blessed to have been given 2 amazing animals in my life that though very different from one another, I very much couldn't imagine my life without them.

You go through life's highs and lows and those animals are right by your side every step of the way. There then comes a day when you may have to make the hardest decision and say, "it is time."

Though it is the hardest decision, and often we question whether it is the right time or not, it is also the greatest blessing. We have the opportunity to give our beloved animals the greatest gift of love. We can allow them to pass peacefully and without further pain and suffering. It is hard to not be selfish and keep them in our lives just a little longer when we know deep down they need us to make this decision for them.

Sweet Mocha has lived her life by Carla's side and has lived to serve others. At 14 years old her condition continues to deteriorate and in the words of her mama, she no longer enjoys the things she always has. Her bad days outnumber the good and after several consultations with her vet they have made the decision to schedule an appointment for her to make her way across the rainbow bridge.

Hug your furry friends and please pray for Carla and her husband Adam as they spend Mocha's last days together.
