We , giving back through every event! Twist & Stout Mobile Bar Experience is a newcomer to the Southwest Michigan private event scene. Founder Amy Braido created the company to deliver stress-free event bar services that include full beer, wine and custom craft, personalized cocktail menus for weddings, corporate events and non-profit fundraisers. She brings her attention to d

etail, impeccable service and sense of humor to every event. With each reservation, a portion of the proceeds go to support causes near and dear to her heart. Amy dubs it as "celebration with a purpose!"

Her drive for wanting to make a difference in the lives of children started to develop at the age of 8. Her empathy draws from her own early life experiences and learning about impoverished children in other countries. "Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to go to Ethiopia and adopt an older child, because a lot of those children get lost in the mix or forgotten," Amy says. Already having 3 biological children, in 2007, her son Ismael was adopted. He was 11 years old at the time. The next year, she created a ministry run through her church that ultimately led to the establishment of a 501(c)3 to support local at-risk youth, via foster care charities and formed a partnership with the three government orphanages in the capital of Ethiopia where she is still actively leading projects. Amy is trained in fine arts and graphic design, was a florist and has worked in the hospitality industry as a server, bartender or restaurant manager for almost three decades. "I like to challenge myself to grow personally and professionally. When I saw an opportunity to establish my own mobile bar company, I gratefully took the leap! How lucky am I to get to serve people in their best life moments while continuing to care for those in their most vulnerable," she adds. Based in the vibrant Southwest Michigan region, Twist & Stout has provided a unique way for her to merge her interests into a fulfilling career that helps to support charities serving at-risk youth both in the U.S. and Ethiopia.
