7 THINGS KILLING YOUR PRAYER LIFE.

1. Excessive eating: Eating more than necessary at night will only weaken your body.

2. Sleep: You must train body to sleep less and stay awake. Sleep drain your strength to pray. The truth is, some sleep is an attack.

3. Filthiness of the spirit and soul: Po*******hy, s*x chat and impure thoughts are killers of prayer stamina. Your inner man would always be defeated by feeding your spirit man with filthy and erotic content.

4. Bad atmosphere: Atmosphere you create and find yourself matter a lot. If you're among prayer weaklings, gossip and carnal believers your prayer fire will die. Gossip and backbite would frustrate you.

5. Poor feeding of your inner man. If your spirit man isn't well fed you can't be a prayer champion. You don't listen to sermons, you hardly study the word or Christian articles then your prayer life will be starved to death.

6. Worry: No worrier becomes a prayer warrior. Kill your worry to give life to you prayer stamina.

7. Distraction through watching TV, addiction to social media and boyfriend or girlfriend syndrome. Work on your prayer life.

Hours after rebuking what he dubbed the “Jezebel Spirit” at a men’s event over the weekend, Pastor Mark Driscoll was invited back to the platform at the Stronger Men’s Conference in Springfield, Missouri.

In a deviation from his planned sermon, Driscoll called out what he saw as the spiritually problematic kickoff to the two-day convention, which was hosted by James River Church, a megachurch led by Pastor John Lindell. Driscoll took issue with the opening ceremony at the Great Southern Bank Arena, where stuntman Alex Magala performed.

Magala, who gained notoriety after appearing on “America’s Got Talent,” was dressed in an all-leather outfit. When he began his show, Magala removed his shirt and began performing acrobatic stunts on a metal pole in the middle of the stage before ultimately swallowing a sword.

Without telling Lindell, Driscoll addressed his concerns with the performance — which he asserted invited the “Jezebel Spirit” into the conference — before the James River pastor told him he was “out of line” and removed him from the platform.

Lindell then took to the stage, where, after referencing Matthew 18, he argued Driscoll should have addressed his concerns privately with him prior to airing his grievances on the main platform.

The Purpose of Worship Flags

In a worship service, Flags and Banners are used for God’s people as a visual tool on which to focus. They can declare a time of the battle in spiritual warfare, God’s love, His grace, holiness, and power. As the Spirit of God (the watchman) directs, the waving of Flags and Banners will open the “spiritual gates” of heaven allowing the Holy Spirit to flow freely among His people with healing, deliverance, and encouragement.

Flags and Banners are vital to the Body of Christ. They make a statement – a statement of our worship, our praise, our warfare, and a statement that reflects our work with the Lord. They are a form of visual worship and they make a powerful statement to the non-believer. They are a silent witness in ministry but they speak volumes to anyone who looks at them.

The purpose of worship flags and banners is to minister and glorify the Lord. It’s also to open communication with the Lord by having the worshipper only focus on God and His true divinity. Worshipping with flags can be a rallying point for healing and to fight back the enemy. It can also expose and destroy the works of the enemy through worship.

The flag minister must be following the Holy Spirit, who is also guiding the worship leader, the dance leader, and the covering of the house. If we all remain submitted to the Lord, He will ensure order and be enabled to move in power through the unified body. In Worship, the flag may be speaking the heart of the people toward God, or God’s heart toward His people.

Lifting a Flag and/or a Banner is a Kingdom tool of identification, proclamation, and glorification. In worship and warfare, the function of a Flag and Banner is to attract the attention of the people of God, to proclaim a message of identification or focus for biblical truth and purpose, to impact the heart of God, the heart of the people and the spiritual realm for a positive outcome. God uses the things of the natural world to affect things in the spiritual world.

THE MYSTERY OF FLAGS

Often, during prophetic and spontaneous worship, the Holy Spirit may lead you to raise up a flag and wave it in the Spirit as you dance in worship to God. This happens alongside prophetic dance where the Holy Spirit moves your body as you yield to Him to help you worship God spontaneously with your body. What happens when we respond to the Holy Spirit in this way? The motions and movements of your hands with the worship flags may not seem to have any significance from external observation, but in the spiritual realm, the Holy Spirit uses you in the following ways (this not an exhaustive list):

1. Cleanse, shift and purify atmospheres.
2. Bring healing and deliverance
3. Open up godly portals for the supernatural to happen naturally in that environment
4. Release the fragrances of Heaven into the room
5. Activate the creative power of God to be expressed in the room so that new things can be birthed and miracles can happen, effortlessly.
6. It is an act and expression of spiritual warfare that decrees and executes the victory of God.
7. This expression of worship brings pleasure to the Lord's Heart and is a form of celebration before Him.

God will often show you the exact timing during worship to Him when He needs you to use the flags, and He will show you how to move them, because there is a mystery in the movements. There is also a mystery in the colours, so depending on what He is doing, He will lead you on the colours the worship flags should be.

You don't have to be in a church/corporate setting for the Holy Spirit to move you in this way. Sometimes He can quicken you to worship God alone in your house, and in the process, you feel a leading to take a cloth and use it as a worship flag. You may not understand everything He is doing through you as you use them in prophetic worship, but you can be sure that, at the very least, the atmosphere of your home will shift and open up more and more to the movements of God.

Why should we pay cash everywhere we can
with banknotes instead of a credit card? 💳

- I have a $50 banknote in my pocket.
Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the bill to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the bill to pay the barber. The barber will then use the bill for shopping.

After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a $50, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made...

- But if I come to a restaurant and pay digitally - Card, and bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around $1.50 and so will the fee $1.50 for each further payment transaction or owner re laundry or payments of the owner of the laundry shop, or payments of the barber etc.....

Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial $50 will remain only $5 😫 and the remaining $45 became the property of the bank 🏦 thanks to all digital transactions and fees.

Small businesses need your help and this is one way to help ourselves too. Pull small draws of cash out at a time and use that instead of tap, credit, etc.

When this is put into perspective, imagine what each retailer is paying on a monthly basis in fees at 3% per transaction through their POS machine.

If they have, for example, $50,000 in sales & 90% are by Card, they are paying $1500 in fees in ONE Month. $18,000 in a year! That comes out of their income every month.

That would go a long way to helping that small business provide for its family!🏦♥️"

A Texas youth pastor says an outpouring of revival is taking place among college students at Texas A&M Corpus Christi and it shows "no signs of slowing down" as hundreds have already given their lives to Jesus and others are getting water baptized almost daily.

Tarik Whitmore, the young adult pastor at New Life Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, told CBN News he is seeing a movement among college students who are getting saved and then boldly proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ with the student body.

The result is a campus being transformed for Jesus – and it is happening quickly.

"In the spring of 22, we started to see people preaching in their small groups – people invite their friends who don't know the Lord to their small groups. And instead of the small group being a Bible study, they would have someone get up and preach and every time it would happen one or two kids would give their lives to the Lord," he said.

Whitmore says for that entire spring semester he was opening the church late at night to baptize students.

"I didn't do anything or minister in any way. I'm just the guy with the keys at that point," he shared.

The Texas A&M Corpus Christi alum says for more than a year, students have been coming, almost weekly, to get baptized.

As CBN News reported, at one point Michael Fehlauer, the lead pastor of the New Life Church posted videos to social media that showed students baptizing their friends in a public fountain at Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

Whitmore says many of these young adults are having their lives "radically changed" and are simply sharing with their friends what God has done.

"We are seeing these people repent from compromise and make a decision to make a public declaration of, 'No, I want to give my whole life to Jesus starting today.' And then we see them radically transformed before our eyes where their lifestyle is radically different [and] [they have] boldness to preach the Gospel to their friends like never before," said Whitmore.

The young adult pastor believes the heart change is genuine saying, "The culture of holiness has really been remarkable among these young people. They are living in purity and righteousness even at this secular university."

And it's igniting a powerful spiritual movement on the campus.

In August, Life Church held its annual outreach at the school and roughly 1,000 students showed up to pray, worship, and learn more about Jesus.

Approximately 124 of those students answered the call to salvation and decided to be water-baptized.

"Literally we preached the message and then for the next hour and a half we just had the worship team play because we spent the whole time baptizing people," Whitmore recalled.

Whitmore says students are gathering in college dorms, apartments, and homes to share about Jesus.

"We've had about 21 small group gatherings [and] young adult life groups. And I think the smallest one is 20 people and the largest one is 90 people. So over 400 [people] in these small group gatherings since Labor Day," he told CBN News. "People are inviting their friends and saying, 'Something is happening. You need to come and see.'"

Whitmore also shared that they have seen 21 more baptisms since Labor Day.

"Small group leaders are literally going and buying horse troughs because it is no longer feasible to reach out to me to unlock the church because it is happening too frequently across multiple groups, per night now," he said.

"It is showing no signs of slowing down," he added.

Whitmore says 240 people showed up at a gathering at Life Church Thursday night and five students were baptized.

"It just keeps happening," he shared.

"I'm very hesitant to use the word revival, but I'm to the point where I don't know what else to call it, especially in light of what is happening around our nation at multiple other college campuses. It really does seem like a nationwide move of God is taking place and we just get to be part of it."

Whitmore tells CBN News that he and the leaders at Life Church have been praying for a movement to break out on the school's campus since 2015, but he doesn't take credit for what is happening because he knows it is the work of the Holy Spirit.

"The heavy lifting is done in prayer," he explained.

"One of the things we prayed for was Lord to give us 10 percent of that university... [or] a tithe of that university. And this past year to see 10 percent of the university be touched by what God has done through our church to the young people...is really mind-blowing. It's been overwhelming," he expressed.

Whitmore says Gen Z is not interested in a "palatable" or "cultural-relevant" Christianity, but instead, they are looking for answers.

"I think there is a shift and I think there is an increase in hunger and I think what we've seen is people be drawn to an authentic expression of Biblical Christianity. There is an expression of power that has been incredibly attractive to kids of all backgrounds," he explained. "I think Gen Z is hungry for something real and authentic, regardless of what package it comes in."

Whitmore added, "The more simple and more unapologetic we've been about worship, about preaching the Gospel, about praying, and the laying on of hands, we've seen our influence increase, and that tells me there is a genuine hunger for something authentic."

In seemingly hopeless situations where we can’t see any way out, God’s power has the opportunity to shine the GREATEST! It's in those moments when we come to the end of ourselves, that we realize and finally admit that we're not able to depend on our own abilities, or anyone else, but totally and completely dependent upon God. He WILL make a way where there seems to be no way. I know, because there was a time in my life when all I could see was the dead end ahead of me. But my God made a way like ONLY He can do; "For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, 'Fear not, I am the One who helps you'” (Isaiah 41:13).

God loves to show up right when we need Him most. Never underestimate His power to change a circumstance or situation. His ways are not our ways, they're so much better! "'For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,' declares the LORD" (Isaiah 55:8). HAVE FAITH! He’s the God of miracles Who NEVER changes! In the worst of situations, Consider the Source; "I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last" (Revelation 22:13). Who else can say that but God? NO ONE! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
