I just read this.....

You are awakening to the
same country you fell asleep to.
The very same country.

Pull yourself together.

And,
when you see me,
do not ask me
"What do we do now?
How do we get through the next four years?"

Some of my Ancestors dealt with
at least 400 years of this
under worse conditions.

Continue to do the good work.
Continue to build bridges not walls.
Continue to lead with compassion.
Continue the demanding work
of liberation for all.
Continue to dismantle broken systems,
large and small.
Continue to set the best example
for the children.
Continue to be a vessel of nourishing joy.

Continue right where you are.
Right where you live into your days.

Do so in the name of
The Creator who expects
nothing less from each of us.

And if you are not "continuing"
ALL of the above,
in community, partnership, collaboration?

It is absolutely none of our business to decide who is ready to
hear the message of recovery and who is not. Many of us have
formed such a judgment about an addict’s desire for recovery and
have been mistaken. Multiple relapses do not necessarily signify
lack of interest in recovery, nor does the “model newcomer” demonstrate,
without a doubt, a certainty of “making it.” It is our purpose
and our privilege to share the message of recovery unconditionally
with anyone expressing a desire to receive it.

When maturity is your base line regardless of the situation, you stand on some true principles. I utilize these 4 agreements to create an atmosphere that foster healthy relationships. I realize in this journey called life sometimes you have to stand on these to keep your soul and spirit right. Do I believe there are healthy ways of addressing disagreements of course, have I falter in my earlier years of life of reacting versus responding? Of course! But what I have learned is relationships are God given so how we react or respond is a byproduct of what is dwelling on the inside of us all along. We are some times entertaining the ways of the wicked with our mouths when we are not in alignment. Some people say how do you forgive so quickly, because I know what the Lord has done for me. I shall not forget.
