A Brazilian native, Sergio Silva grew up in Rio de Janeiro and was surrownded by good food from early in life. Sergio Pursued a career in Advertising and Marketing for 18 years. In the meantime Sergio decided to follow his true calling and gain working knowledge of classic technique to augment his natural ability. He enrolled in the School of Culinary Jose Hugo Celidonio in Rio de Janeiro to learn
better what he already knew. In 2001 he moved to New York City to further his marketing career. It was there where his passion for cooking explodes from de abundance of world-class restaurants and culinary influences. This gave him an opportunity to steadily develop his own cooking style and technique in tandem with the growing demand for excellent fresh food. Realizing the trend of individuals renovating their kitchens with semi-professional equipment, he decided to bring fine dining into their homes. After working in the USA as a Private Chef, Sergio established in 2012 AlecrimbySergio. To buy local and sustainable ingredients and prepare delicious meals for private clients. Special events and dinner parties are available. After an initial consultation with clients, Sergio develops customized menus that reflects his clients dietary preferences. All meals are cooked from scratch prepared out side and set up in the clients home. Chef Sergio areas of specialization are Brazilian (Latin) and Mediterranean and a variety of world food. He currently lives in New York City but the work is extend to Fire Island Pines and The Hamptons.
