To all those who have served and who continue to serve, we thank and honor you this Veterans Day Weekend!

Sunday and Monday, we are showing The Blue Angels, a brand-new documentary released this past spring that takes audiences soaring with the Navy's elite Flight Demonstration Squadron as never before. The film is a fitting tribute to the extraordinary teamwork, passion and pride of the hundreds of outstanding men and women of the Navy and Marine Corps who have had the honor to serve in the Blue Angels squadron...past, present, and future.

A portion of every ticket sold will support Veterans Outreach of PA and their continued work on Harrisburg's Tiny Home Village and Community Center for Veterans experiencing homelessness.

We've also got some incredible concerts featuring the West Shore Theatre debut of Creedence Clearwater Remixed (if you loved the Jersey Tenors you'll love this groups take on CCR classics), The Beatles and Beyond! Written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, this year’s Academy Award® Winning Film for Best Visual Effects, Godzilla Minus One, is back in theatres to celebrate the King of the Monsters’ 70th anniversary, with approximately 13 minutes of exclusive bonus content to mark the release of the first film.

Godzilla Minus One sees an already devastated postwar Japan facing a new threat in the form of Godzilla. It also became the highest-grossing Japanese live-action film of all time in the USA, adding to its history-making theatrical run.

Frankenstein
This iconic horror film follows the obsessed scientist Dr. Henry Frankenstein as he attempts to create life by assembling a creature from body parts of the deceased. Aided by his loyal misshapen assistant, Fritz, Frankenstein succeeds in animating his monster, but it escapes into the countryside and begins to wreak havoc. Frankenstein searches for the elusive being and eventually must confront his tormented creation.

Bride of Frankenstein
After recovering from injuries sustained in the mob attack upon himself and his creation, Dr. Frankenstein (Colin Clive) falls under the control of his former mentor, Dr. Pretorius (Ernest Thesiger), who insists the now-chastened doctor resume his experiments in creating new life. Meanwhile, the Monster (Boris Karloff) remains on the run from those who wish to destroy him without understanding that his intentions are generally good despite his lack of socialization and self-control.

Let's do the Time Warp AGAIN!

You've got 4 chances to catch the interactive audience favorite The Rocky Horror Picture Show Sponsored by Semoff's Barber Shop this weekend at the West Shore Theatre: Friday, October 25 at 7 and 10 PM and Saturday, October 26 at 7 and 10 PM. Booths and high tops are about sold out, but some standard seats still remain.

Come in costume if you'd like and enjoy the movie and a variety of alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, cider, seltzer, canned cocktails, and themed slushies and support your local independent theatre! We recommend getting your seats in advance at https://www.westshoretheatre.org/tickets/ (all seating is reserved), but we will sell what is available at the door as well. Prop bags will be available for $5 - no outside props are permitted, and as always, no outside food or beverages are allowed.

ATTENTION BLUEGRASS FANS! This Friday, April 28 at 7 PM, you've got a chance to catch one of PA's best and most popular bands, Colebrook Road at the West Shore Theatre! Bridging the divide between straight-drive, traditional grass played by the Del McCoury Band and the Lonesome River Band and the genre-warping progressive grass done by the Punch Brothers and Billy Strings, Colebrook Road strives to find a common middle ground, creating new enthusiasts for bluegrass while expanding the definition of the genre for established fans. Influences of the members of Colebrook Road abound, from ‘90s country to heavy metal to punk rock to, yes, traditional bluegrass. Each member brings their own experiences to the music to create something greater than what the five individuals could have ever achieved separately. Guitarist, lead vocalist, and main songwriter Jesse Eisenbise lends his great vocal range and racing guitar picking to each song, while banjoist, dobroist, and bass vocalist Mark Rast hammers out blinding right-hand rhythms blended with just enough left-hand virtuosity. Mandolinist Wade Yankey’s gargantuan rhythm chop and inventive breaks play off of fiddler and baritone vocalist Joe McAnulty’s searing, syncopated fiddle work. Bassist and tenor vocalist Jeff Campbell holds down the bottom end with a notably percussive drive.
