Broadway star and Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young will offer an Audition Technique Masterclass for 8 HIGH SCHOOL and COLLEGE students. Participants will prepare an audition cut of a piece of music and receive feedback and instruction from the celebrated singer and actor from the original cast of Jersey Boys!
The masterclass will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024. More information and specifics will be sent when registered. This weekend, we are thrilled to kick off December by welcoming back Sankofa African American Theatre Company with their third annual production of "Black Nativity" by Langston Hughes: A Gospel Christmas Musical Experience. Few seats remain, so we encourage you to get your tickets while you can!

Langston Hughes’ "Black Nativity", a retelling of Christianity’s Nativity Story set to jubilant Gospel music, incorporates dialog, folk spirituals, traditional carols, dramatic dance, and Biblical narrative. The Christmas story expresses African American spirituality and the oral traditions of the African American church.

The month kicks off with the return of Sankofa African American Theatre Company presenting Black Nativity December 6 through 8. We wanted to make you aware that the PNC Bank Parking Lot (across from the West Shore Theatre in front of Neato Burrito) will be CLOSED today, Sunday, November 24, for the Third Annual Merry Merchants Holiday Market.

The market runs from 11 AM to 3 PM, so you may want to give yourself some additional travel time to find parking elsewhere and to visit the market before your 12:30 or 4:00 PM movie showing. The Market features over 40+ local makers and artists, food trucks and bakers, bands, a visit from Santa and The Grinch, a mistletoe rescue dog kissing booth, and much more!

Starring Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, Gary Oldman, and Chris Tucker, The Fifth Element follows a wild quest to save the human race from imminent extinction. Director Luc Besson’s 1997 sci-fi adventure features stunning visuals, love-it-or-hate-it gags, and ridiculous worldbuilding.
