Terrie “Gitsy” Basko, owner of GTC Entertainment & NJ Airbrush Tattoos, discovered her calling to clowning in 1994. With 4 small children and a wonderfully supportive husband she started on the road to laughter. Peachey Keene University was the first official clown convention that Terrie attended. She was encourage even more to continue discovering what God had in mind for her in this world of clo

wning after winning awards in both the group and single competitions. She attended many more clown and balloon conventions thru out the years building her skills, growing and teaching. Thru hospital clowning, Terrie soon discovered another character of Gitsy the Rainbow Lady. This character became overwhelmingly popular with many of her children’s shows, nursing homes and hospitals, and is now her main character. In 1998 Terrie was also on staff for the International Festival of Children’s Magicians. She has also lectured at and been an associate staff member at Clownfest in NJ, sharing her knowledge and skills in creating balloon sculptures & the art of Glitter Tattoos. Terrie has also taught face painting, balloons, glitter tattoos and/or "Paint-A-Loons" at various conferences around the country including the 2010 Show Me Clowns for Jesus National Conference, the 2010 MACA (Mid Atlantic Clown Conference) & Clownfest of New Jersey. She will once again be joining the 2011 staff of Show Me Clowns For Jesus National Conference in February 2011. She is an accomplished and award winning full time balloon artist, face painter, temporary tattoo airbrush artist and clown. She has also trained and mentored 3 of her children and her husband who have also clowned & entertained with her. Together they have brought their gift of laughter to thousands of children and adults at private and corporate events throughout New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania. Now going on 22 years in the business of making people laugh Terrie continues to enjoy bringing smiles and laughter to the many events she and her husband are booked at as well as the added opportunity of sharing her knowledge with others in teaching face & body painting, balloons, temporary airbrush tattoos, marketing and how to grow your birthday party business at various professional conferences. At the request of many of her clients that have used her entertainment services throughout the years (and withher husband, Gary Sr.'s, encouragement) Terrie & Gary Sr. opened NJ Airbrush Tattoos to be able to continue servicing her clients' needs as their children got older and out grew the clowns. has received training as a temporary tattoo & glitter tattoo artist and joined us in the business as well.
