It's with great sadness that we report the passing of member, Bob Kinney. Bob was a great ambassador for Conemaugh, always willing to talk & always willing to help. Bob rarely missed a meeting & never missed a trial. Even into his 80s, Bob would show up for work days. No matter what, if Bob had a job to do, it would get done. At our trials, everyone was a friend to Bob. Usually at the gate or on the porch, Bob would engage in a conversation with everyone about any subject under the sun.

He was also a great friend to all of us. He always asked about our families as he had a genuine concern for all. Personally, I will miss our phone conversations, especially around the holidays. We had some deep talks about the world & society. When I first joined Conemaugh, he came up to me like we had been friends for years, and I am blessed to say we have continued that friendship for years.

Bob was a good Christian man, a good family man & father, and an outstanding member of our club. Rest easy my friend...

In memory of Gary Penrose Jr, Michelle, Cory & Mason Penrose donated this beautiful bench to honor their husband/father. It sits near the entrance to the running grounds at the club. Gary had a huge impact on our club & we miss him tremendously. A wonderful tribute to him at a place he loved very much. (Pictured are Gary's parents, his wife & siblings)

We are very proud of our club member & FTS Craig Chelednik for being named the 2022 PBGF Houndsperson of the year. An honor well deserved!

Now that the dust (or maybe we should say mud) from our licensed trial has settled a bit, we need to extend some thanks. First off, thanks to all that attended & entered hounds. The remains of the hurricane right over us presented a challenge. Conditions & game were not ideal to say the least. We would like to also thank our judges who all did an admirable job. Every winners pack smoked their rabbit. Also we would like to thank Bob Bish who stepped up to help us with FTS duties as our membership was split between 2 locations. Bob stepped in & nothing skipped a beat, just outstanding Bob! We would also like to thank our members that worked hard to pull things off. We are a small club & that puts a strain on each & every member.

Finally we would like thank Indiana Beagle Club, Dave Sharer & the entire Sharer family. We could not ask for a better neighboring club. They graciously offered their club grounds to us on Sunday to run the little females. We are blessed to have them and their kindness & generosity are greatly appreciated. Again, we cannot thank them enough. The Sharer's have always been outstanding friends of Conemaugh and we value their support and efforts.

We are honored & humbled to have so many people support & help us out.
