Our happy couple's indoor ceremony was beautiful and flawless, and as luck would have it, the rain stopped again shortly after to allow them more photos outside during cocktail hour. Want to know what else was going on during cocktail hour? A widespread power outage. Probably from the storm, right? Nope. An accident at the substation left a huge area without power, so again our team sprung into action. Our emergency generators power building necessities, but the rest is up to us. The guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d'oeuvres by romantic candlelight, and we provided portable power stations so the DJ and photo booth could keep the entertainment going- which they did! Brooks Music handled everything like the pros they are, and had their music and lights back up and running in no time! When it came time for bridal party introductions, the guests lit the way with their phone flashlights which was super fun and made for some great photos. Dinner was also enjoyed by candlelight until right at the end when the power finally came back on. The rest of the evening went on smoothly and everyone had a blast! Through all of the curveballs, Emily and Jake never stopped smiling and went with the flow. At the end of the night they even said it was fun and made their wedding even more memorable. That it did, and we are so grateful we got to be there for every minute of it. Wishing you a lifetime of sunshine and smooth sailing after one crazy wedding day Jake and Emily, with so much love from your Gather family!!โค๐โ
Special shoutout to Magical Minutes Photography for rolling with the punches all day and putting out these amazing pics!!
