We exclusively grow the larger exquisite Colibri Poppies, bred in Italy for the cut flower trade.

Reminiscent of crepe silk georgette, circa 1920, these blooms are surreal, with their delicate crinkled texture. Sitting atop wiry stems, a bunch of Colibri Poppies in a well-loved vase will dance & move for days.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU from all of us at Lindell Flower Farm - we are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support during Mother's Day Week!

We were literally unable to post to Social Media, as the volume of orders without any advertising was already beyond our wildest dreams.

By around 3PM Mother's Day, our huge walk-in floral cooler was empty - really empty, with only a couple fresh arrangements left in our Farm Store! We have never sold this much in a single week.

We're feeling so fortunate to live & work on the top of this magical hill, one that so many cross over to get somewhere or take a leisurly drive through the CT Wine Trail. This family farm business started at the kitchen table as a concept in 2015, Lindell family members daydreaming over floral books & catalogues & designing a rough logo, all before we broke ground & planted a single seed.

9 years later, we're in a place where our lovely customers seek us out without prompting - every small business owner's dream!

The greenhouse is full & lush & next up are Poppies, extremely fragrant Stock & Snapdragons & more! We're so excited to share it all with you ... lots more purchasing options coming too!!

As an experiment we started some very late seeds to see how long we could push the season in the greenhouse as the Dahlias & other flowers become tired - not only did we gather important data, but we have fresh flowers to share!

We’ll have premium long stem fresh ZINNIA bunches in the Farm Store tomorrow Wednesday November 1!

As an experiment we started some very late seeds to see how long we could push the season in the greenhouse as the Dahlias & other flowers become tired - not only did we gather important data, but we have fresh flowers to share!
