Congratulations to Kelly and Marc, whose wedding I officiated on Nov. 30th, 2024 Mesón Sabika in Naperville, IL! Marc was escorted down the aisle by his daughters and Kelly was escorted down the aisle by her son. We shared parts of their story in the ceremony and celebrated them as a couple, but also, the celebration was about the community of loved ones they’ve gathered throughout their lives that surround and support them. Love never fails. ❤️

It was a glorious October day for an outdoor wedding, and behold their wedding looks: Lily’s deep green suit with silver accessories, and Ash’s dress embellished with ALL the sparkle, complimented by her brilliant hair. A tree planting unity ceremony was a perfect choice for this date and location. Aaron and Emily first added soil to the pot, representing all they will give to their marriage to allow it to thrive, and they invited their guests to come up and add some soil to the pot also, representing all that their community contributes to help them thrive as well. They were so sweetly emotional through several moments in the ceremony, and though there was a minor invasion of ladybug imposter bugs during their pretty outdoor ceremony on the deck, they laughed it off, and picked them off each other each time a new one landed.
