The flower beds are settled for their long winter’s nap, but I’m busy at my (other) seasonal gig—Christmas wreaths! This tradition has been in my family for generations, and it’s a joy to see my niece and daughters learning the craft. No one better than Gramp to show them how it’s done! And with that, the 2023 flower season comes to a close—but the wheels are already turning on next year’s bounty! Tulip and hyacinth bulbs are being planted, seeds, corms, and tubers are ordered, new perennials and shrubs are in the ground. Thank you all for a wonderful year. Looking forward to bringing you more seasonal blooms in 2024!

Though the flowers are slowing down with the cooler, shorter days, I’m still taking orders by request! Between the seasonal change and a number of special event orders I’ve not had the cart out, but give me a call and I’ll happily harvest and arrange something pretty just for you. 🤗

Sometimes this work is bittersweet. My daughters and I had the great privilege of meeting the woman whose life these flowers commemorate. She faced the end of her days on earth with peace and confidence rooted in her faith.
May these blooms honor her memory and reflect the beauty of her well-lived life.

Lucky flower subscription members, your bouquets await you!

Pick up early if you can, change out the water every other day, and give stems a little trim each time for best longevity. I’ll have some extra flower food packets on the porch table if you’d like to use a little each water change :)
