With the weather warmer this month, we’ve had another flush of roses unexpectedly. I have been practicing some new designs and just really love this somewhat messy, romantic vibe.

We are beginning to take orders for Thanksgiving arrangements! I have ordered a selection of roses, scented geranium, some gorgeous fall filler, and more for our fall tables; in addition to our amaranth, mums, celosia, and ageratum. 🌼

Thanksgiving is easily one of my favorite holidays, mainly just because I love to cook, entertain, and all of the amazing natural fragrances from florals & dishes.

100% of the proceeds from our Bloom Bar are going directly to Thriving Beyond Breast Cancer so we hope you’ll stop out and play with us in the flowers, sip, and shop with all of the great vendors. You won’t want to miss it!

Just like that and the farmers’ market season is a wrap! Thank you to everyone who stopped out yesterday for the final market day & artisan market and everyone who has been out all season long! It has been so lovely getting to know so many new friends and nature lovers.

A big thank you to for all of the hard work that goes into planning and managing the markets! You all are wonderful and we are so lucky to have such a wonderful market right here in Albemarle NC.

We had an incredibly fun and busy weekend visiting with family from out of town. My mom is easily one of my favorite people in this world and we always have a blast when she makes a trip to see us. It was fun getting to take her through building an arrangement at our mini Bloom Bar.

One of my favorite things to give some guidance and education but also space for each person to express their own creativity when cutting and placing their flowers. The excitement and joy that I get to witness as it all comes together, is so special!

Can’t wait to come hang with everyone up in Mount Ulla this Saturday, 10/12/24 from 9-4PM at the Outdoor Market!!

Mount Ulla is just north of Charlotte and near Lazy 5 Ranch (for all our friends with families) so if you don’t have plans, swing out for a fun afternoon!!

We’ll be bringing a mix of flowers, a handful of houseplants, some antique vases we’ve collected, handmade jewelry, and more!

Our hearts have been heavy in the wake of Hurricane Helene so will also be continuing fundraising efforts to help our neighbors in Western NC. 💓

Thank you to for hosting us at their Fall Festival yesterday! We seriously had SO much fun! 🤩

Thank you to everyone who came and laughed with us, played with flowers, and learned about each other. This is one of my most favorite things about this business we’ve made; it is a beautiful way to bring together our community.

Speaking of community, our hearts have been heavy in the wake of Hurricane Helene. That is why we have donated 20% of our proceeds from this event to Aid for Artists: a network designed to get financial aid directly in the hands of artists and small business owners that have been directly impacted by Hurricane Helene.

I’ve chosen this specific fundraiser because it was shared by my first EVER boss working at an art gallery in my small hometown of Newark, Ohio. was a big part of my life back then, helping inch along my love for the arts. Coincidentally, we both wound up in the Carolina’s. My heart goes to Gwynne and the community in Asheville and all across WNC. Everyone who knows Gwynne and her husband will attest to their kind nature and impactful work in the arts community.

So let’s keep helping our neighbors, friends, love ones, strangers, critters big and small. If you missed the event but would like to donate to this specific cause, I’ve included a link in my bio! Every dollar helps! 🫶🏻
