2017 NEW LONDON STOREFRONTS: STATE STREET TEMPORARY PUBLIC ART: Ribbon-Cutting: 4:30 PM, Thursday, June 8 at the Garde Arts Center
The 2017 project is concentrated on storefronts on the North side of State Street between Union and Huntington Street including the Garde Arts Center, New London Main Street, Eastern Connecticut Symphony, The Mohican, Barrows Building and the Manwaring Building with one addition, the Marquee Gallery across Parade Plaza.
The storefront project is part of the Festival of Creativity and Innovation, June 9, 10, 11 is "THE" place, with a Blues & Brews Fest on Bank Street, Creatinova, exhibits and performances on Parade Plaza and the 2017 Storefront Temporary Public Art Project on State Street: www.creativityinnovationfest.org/blues-brews/
In addition to these exciting events, extraordinary exhibits at Hygienic Art/ New London Main Street: APEX, an exhibit of some of select best CT artists; Marquee Gallery's Economy of Art exhibit of talented emerging artists. Additional exhibits of CT visual artists at the Hispanic Alliance Gallery and MS17 Art Project Galleries
