Y’all, a snow day on the flower farm is pure magic! ❄️ When the world gets quiet under a blanket of white, we make the most of these special moments - even if our one of our pups thinks he’s the official sledding supervisor (spoiler alert: he takes his job VERY seriously 😆).
Found the sweetest surprise while exploring today - our hellebores (aka Lenten Roses) peeking through the snow, reminding us that beauty shows up in the most unexpected places. These tough little blooms are just like us Tennessee folks - a little bit of cold weather can’t keep us down!
These are the days that fill my heart the most - watching the kids play, the dogs living their best snow lives, and those gorgeous mountains showing off in their winter whites. Mother Nature sure knows how to paint a beautiful picture!

We did it! 3 hours later, ditches dug and 7000+ tulips in the ground and planted. This same job took us 2 days last year. My new motto for life is to do my best to KISS - Keep It Simple Silly 🤪 Last year I made boxes, planted the tulips individually “egg carton” style, then covered them all with compost. This year we pulled off the black fabric from a section of the field, used the tractor to dig a trench, threw the bulbs in, then just covered them back up with dirt. Easy peasy! They will grow just fine, and maybe even better than before. And we now have plenty of time to watch football 🏈
