As we wrap up 2024, I can’t help but sit here and think, “Wow—what a year!” And honestly, that feels like an understatement. This time last year, owning a venue wasn’t even on my radar. Fast forward a few months, and here we are. So how did it all happen?
It all started with a little rumor that the building might be for sale. My immediate response? “Say no more—I must own it!”
With a vision of creating a small private event venue, a love of history, determination, faith, encouragement from friends, and a whole lot of hard work (special shout-out to my amazing husband, aka “the maintenance crew” #IYKYK), the dream came to life. It took a village to open the doors and continues to take one to keep everything running smoothly. I couldn’t possibly be more grateful.
This year, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of hosting everything from small meetings, baby showers, and bridal showers to weddings and Christmas parties. We also launched our own events, like the Saturday Socials and Bourbon Tasting, and opened the venue to the public on Thursdays and Fridays.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re so excited for what’s in store! We’re already booking incredible events, and let’s just say we have a few surprises up our sleeves. And did I mention—we’re booking 2026 weddings too?! Yes, 2026! How amazing is that?

1- Invest in high-quality blooms. Avoid overly shiny finishes or plastic stems that can look fake in photos. 2- Mix in greenery, to add texture and make the arrangement more lifelike. 3- Arrange in natural, asymmetrical designs to avoid looking to “perfect”, use varied colors, textures and sizes to replicate depth of real arrangements.
