We're psyched to have Becks and Sierra from Cicada Calling Farm at the Mother's Day Flower Market this weekend! It's tomorrow, Sunday 5/11, from 10am to 1 pm, at Press Street Gardens.

Cicada Calling is a 2-acre diversified vegetable and cut-flower farm in Independence, Louisiana. At the Market, Becks and Sierra will be selling fresh flower bouquets and farm merch.

We’re glad to have Maddiy and other members of the VEGGI Co-op joining us at the Mother’s Day Flower Market! This Sunday, 5/11, from 10 to 1 at Press Street Gardens .

VEGGI Co-op will be selling potted plants including tropical, houseplants, and bonsai trees; plus farm value-added items like kimchi, chili oil, seed bars, and loofah, in addition to fresh cut flowers

VEGGI Farmers Cooperative is currently made up of 9 farmers growing on 1.5 acres in New Orleans East. VEGGI prioritizes heirloom produce both native to New Orleans and those historic to the Vietnamese community. We promote no-spray sustainable agriculture and growers make homemade fertilizers and pesticides to maintain healthy and happy plants.

Crazy Plant Bae is a 3 generation family owned business. We are a team of 5 women, Margaret, the original plant bae, 3 the hard way sisters & Mackenzi, the pint size boss of it all! For over 40 years, this family has spread plant joy and always loved plants and loves to share that love with our exceptional plant community.

We’re thrilled to welcome Emma Raynor Ceramics .ray.ceramics to the Mother’s Day Flower Market this Sunday! May 11th, from 10am to 1pm, at Press Street Gardens . Emma will be selling ceramic bowls, plates, cups, and jewelry.

FROM THE ARTIST
Ever since I was a child I have loved the feel of clay in my hands. I like to pass on the sense of calm I feel at the wheel through the pieces that I form there. I’m most inspired by nature- I find myself mirroring the organic shapes, earth tones and curves of the natural world in my work. When I make a new piece I am honoring the creativity of my metalworking grandfather, my father who taught me to see in new ways through his photography, and the generations of storytellers I come from. Every piece is a new story.

We are pleased to have Pretty Coffee as our guest coffee vendor at the Mother’s Day Flower Market! This Sunday, 5/11, from 10 to 1 at Press Street Gardens .

Small batch roasted in New Orleans for daily consumption. Pretty Coffee is aimed at highlighting quality driven coffees and roasting with intention. Woman owned and operated.

AT THE MARKET: Pretty Coffee will be offering hot coffee, cold brew, and retail bags of whole-bean coffee to take home.
