, one of our newest members, is run by Virginia and Jim. They are located in lower coast Algiers & will be bringing bouquets, arrangements, and house plants!
petit.jardin is run by Erica! She is located in Central City and focuses on small batch, hand crafted goods, veggies, fruits, and shelf stable products. Lots of love in every product and all produce. Erica’s star Mother’s Day product will be her hand made soaps, something you don’t want to miss out on as a gift.

is run by Becks and Sierra. They are located in Independence, LA and are bringing cut flower bouquets, merch, and value added farm goodies

, another long time member, is run by Becca and is located in Gentilly Terrace! She’s bringing arrangements, bouquets, and merch!

is run by Chris and Charlotte! They grow flowers in an urban lot and plants in a collective greenhouse in the lower ninth ward. They will be bringing flower bouquets and bud vase arrangements and maybe some plants for your gardens 🌱

Hi there folks! Excitingly, our sweet treat pop-up guest will be Toussaint by Chef James Farnum! James is an out of this world pastry genius, and you won’t want to miss his creations May 11th. These delectable treats will be absolutely perfect gifts for all ya mamas and mamas alike. Nothing like a lovingly made, perfect pastry to show someone how much you know they love local sweets. Hey y’all! Our BIG Mother’s Day Flower Market event is MAY 11th 10am-1pm at Press St Gardens and we’re hosting a series of four raffle packages! All the proceeds from the raffle will go to funding this lovely event, paying our guest musician, and funding future collective events!

🎲 Raffle package #1 includes:

1. Gift card from Gris-Gris NOLA/Saint John
2. Merchandise from Nightshade Flower Farm
3. Gift card from Courtyard Brewery

Raffle tickets are $5 each, and there is no limit on the amount of tickets you can buy—and if you’re not interested in the raffle package we will gladly take your donations! You can order tickets ahead of time by Venmo-ing with the description as your name, the amount of tickets, the number of specific raffle package (1-4), and email address!

Are you interested in learning more about the New Orleans Flower Collective? WELL… there’s no better way to spend your Saturday morning than surrounded by good food, music, farmers, and …. FLOWERS!

We are looking for friends to come and help support our biggest event of the year by volunteering. Check out two of our volunteers from the last plant sale running the welcome table and raffle — we wouldn’t be able to do it without y’all!

Wow, what a day!💐💜🌞We are SO FULL OF GRATITUDE that this many of you turned out to support us and shop at our plant sale yesterday! It was the busiest one we’ve ever had— y’all bought almost everything we brought, and even our wonderful pie vendor Angie with Home Slice Pies sold out! It is a joy to get our plants in the hands of excited gardeners. Huge special thanks goes to our stellar (and huge!) volunteer crew. Thanks as always to for hosting. And please, tag us in garden pics as your plants grow and bloom!

early May is a *delightful* time in our flower gardens, since most of our cool-season flowers are still producing beautiful stems (delphinium, foxglove, snapdragons, campanula, statice, ammi), the transitional-season flowers like cosmos are thriving, and the first of the early summer blooms are coming in too (zinnias, rudbeckia, sunflowers, celosia, amaranth, verbena, etc.). Not to mention the absolute queen of May's cut flowers, LISIANTHUS!

For 2023 we’re starting a monthly FARM TOUR and VOLUNTEER DAY, at a different farm in our collective. The first one is THIS COMING SUNDAY, Feb 5th, at Cicada Calling Farm in Independence, La (near Hammond). Details below from :::

Spring is almost here and we wanted to share a fun opportunity to come visit our farm and lend a hand!

Organized by the the first
Sunday of each month we will be hosting a farm tour and work day at different flower farms in the collective. If you are interested in growing flowers this is a great way to ask questions to experienced growers and connect with the local flower growing community!

After the tour we will be raising beds, mulching, etc to get the farm ready to plant summer flowers!
