Get to know Audrey Ford, of Audrey Ford Events! Below is my bio written by my talented dear friend Rachel Rizzuto, and the picture is taken by the phenomenal photographer EJR Photography!
Audrey Ford has coordinated more than 250 weddings over the last decade—and she remembers every last one! Originally from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Audrey has worked in the hospitality industry in cities as far-reaching as New York, Memphis, Austin, Honolulu, Mobile, and now, New Orleans. As an event planner for venues and full-service catering companies, she's had the pleasure of producing events for Johnnie Walker, Pandora Internet Radio, Formula1 Racing, Oreo, Willie Nelson's Ranch, and SXSW.
As someone whose love for design and creativity is matched only by her passion for list-making and uber-detailed planning, Audrey knows she was made for the wedding-coordinating business. (The signs have always been there: As a child, she orchestrated elaborate processionals for her Barbies' weddings and began regularly purchasing wedding magazines in high school.) She lives in Gretna with her husband, Graham, a member of the Coast Guard, and her son Elec and pup Charlie, all of whom readily accept her Broadway and trash television addictions.
