Our warehouse holds a veritable treasure trove of décor accessories and furnishings. Team UE’s consultants, designers and production artist are trained and experienced in Floral Design, Staging, Architectural, & Interior Design with a well seasoned team of Hospitality & Logistics Management. We offer complete concept, design, styling, production, rentals, and project coordination. Dredging recently started on the Bucktown Living Shoreline and Marsh Creation Project!🦺
Material is pumping in from Lake Pontchartrain to fill 22 acres between the previously installed breakwaters and levee with sediment and aquatic vegetation🌱, and create an open water “blueway” for kayakers and canoers!🛶
Living shorelines use natural materials, such as rock and vegetation, to protect coastal areas from erosion and storm damage while fostering healthy ecosystems. Led by Jefferson Parish, this project also used nine rock breakwaters to provide another layer of protection to the Hurricane Storm Damage Risk Reduction System (HSDRRS) that borders the Bucktown community and safeguards New Orleans. This is the first project of its kind used to protect a federal levee system.
