Henriette DeLille may not yet be canonized by the Catholic Church, but she undoubtedly was saint-like to the people of color who she helped house, educate and comfort.

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Maison de Ville in New Orleans - I loved the historical charm and significance behind the property, as well as the Southern hospitality, and the period decor that transported me back into a different era. Check out my review of this beautiful boutique hotel on my blog here: http://www.caroekg.com/2018/02/where-to-stay-new-orleans.html

Back from New Orleans and currently having major beignet withdrawals (that Cafe du Monde hype is for real y'all). Totally enjoyed my time in the city and the delicious food, the Southern hospitality, friendly people, and the spirited vibe. I especially the historical charm of the French Quarter and feeling like I've been transported to a different era in time. Have you been? What did you like about it?

I especially loved my stay at Hotel Maison de Ville, which is in one of the original buildings in the historic neighborhood. Did you know that their Tennessee Williams suite is where the famous author stayed in and wrote "A Streetcar Named Desire," and is the second oldest building in the French Quarter? So cool. More to come from this beautiful hotel.

Kelsi had both and listed so I really wanted to stay IN the French Quarter. Hotel Maison de Ville was the perfect spot, right in the middle of ALL the action. Walk out the door, turn right and you’re basically on Bourbon Street!!! Didn’t Uber/Lyft for 3 days!
